Other Notable things: Very nice and rare bottle from the Iowa bottling co which was only open from the 1880s-1940s. These hutch bottles are harder to come by. And being a collector of Clinton bottles, I have never seen a slugplate Iowa bottling co before. I do have the only known so far Iowa Bottling co slugplate tooled crown top, but that is not for sale. Beautiful and Detailed Original Map from 1904 Dallas County Iowa(This is an authentic map from 1904-NOT a reproduction) This is a genuine 1904 map removed from The Iowa State Atlas. Published in Davenport, Iowa by the Iowa Publications Co. Maps were prepared and published under the supervision of M. Melchior) Huebinger, C. E. Map is printed on the scale of 1/2" = 1 Mile) The map is dated 1904 of the face(see third scan below) The overall sheet size is about 15.25" x 18.25" The size within the printed"Ears of Corn" border is about 13.75" x 17" Map is too large for my 11" x 17" tabloid scanner; so it was scanned in two passes and then assembled electronically. There are some scanner lines visible in the scan. And where the two sections are joined there is a slight variation in the overall tone. Back has Tornado(wooden roller coaster) Petunia Pig, Flume and Lady Bug. Very unusual and hard to find glass, I have only ever had this one. glass has excellent registration and great gloss. The park opened in 1973 but the tornado was not in operation until 1978 so this glass is probably from that time period. Shipping on this glass is FREE in the continental US.
