It has been stored folded in half. So there is a crease down the center. This is a vintage piece and which shows some wear and little tears along the folds. It is essentially clean from writing with the exception of 3 small airplane pencil sketches about 1 inch long on the lower white margin of the map. This good quality map has much detail on both sides including an enlarged map of the war zone between France and Germany labeled"Western Europe War Zone. Some of the military features shown across this map include naval bases. Air bases, blockades, fortifications and mined areas plus the Maginot Line and the Siegfried Line.
