Vintage(1950-60's)German EUROPA Gilt-Brass Globe-Form Desk Timepiece with Alarm
Vintage(1950-1960's) Made in Germany Brass Europa Globe Form Desk Clock. The time piece is enclosed in a brass globe form which is hinged and opens and closes. Photo frame is on the other side. The clock and alarm are in complete working order and is in good condition. One small cap screw is missing from the top but does not affect the function at all. This piece is especially unique in that it has a small press button which illuminated a small light right underneath the clock. I have never come across another clock like this that has the light. It is quite an old piece and has corrosion and a bulb that is probably burned out, but with the right expertise and access to repair the light could possibly work again.

It's in pretty nice overall condition. I took pics of most of all the flaws. One small dent toward the bottom of South America. There is also a spot toward the bottom of Alaska were there are some very small holes punched in to the globe. Someone covered this with a piece of tape. Vintage THE WORLD BOOK GLOBE circa prob. 1960s or 70s due to countries WOOD BASE
This is a vintage. Probably 1960s or 1970s The World Book Globe. I am basing the age on some research in regard to the countries on the map at the time. It stands on a wooden base. It does have some loss of the metal finish as seen in Pic#4 and#5. It also has lost its tape around the center which holds the two sections together. This can be repaired by just replacing the appropriate kind of tape. You would have to check your local listings to see who does that type of repair. It stands about 17" tall and is about 36" in diameter. The wood base is the nice part of it since you don't see those too often.

This is a vintage/ antique brass lighting fixture is made by'LEVOLITE' See picture close-up) the'Levolite Company Inc. was established in NY. NY in the 1920's and 30's, so it's MADE in the USA! The lamp was painted black at some point. The old wiring is still attached and will need to be replaced if planning to use it. It has a thick white glass globe. Definitely in used condition with some black paint coming off. It measures approx.36" tall top to bottom(the chain = 15" long) and the widest area is about 12" I searched almost 2000 vintage lamps on-line.it seems that this is a rather unusual lamp as I haven't seen any others like it! The gold colored chains are about 12 feet long This is in good working order now.But should be rewired for your specifications.The glass(or porcelain I'm not sure) is in fantastic condition and the hand painted flowers ARE JUST BEAUTIFUL!I believe that this is made for hanging in a corner, because the flowers are only painted on one side.I believe that I should ship the globe seperate from the fixtures.
