Rare! Advertising Pamphlet Book Compliments of the New Elegant Knutsford Hotel. Salt Lake City, Utah G Holmes was the proprietor of the Hotel. In trying to figure out the age of the book. It does show a picture of the then President of the Mormon Church, Mr Woodruff, who was active until 1898. This booklet has 16 pages of information on both sides and pictures of Historical value for the City and its people of the late 1800's. It is interesting to note they are advertising the fact that they now have a phone in every room. Information in the pamphlet: Salt lake city. Is translucent with several inclusions- not ideal for faceting is my best guess. Crystal has been chipped on top. And appears to be terminated at the bottom, where it's attached to the host rock. The overall measurement of the specimen is 23mm x 19mm x 11mm. photos are all in natural light. Vintage 1960 Boy Scout Shirt with dated patches Dragerton Utah extinct town
Vintage BSA shirt from 1960 or before-very nice! This is an excellent condition regulation Scout shirt. What's unique about it is the assortment of patches it has. There is a 1960 Camper patch from the Utah National Parks Council on the right chest pocket. Just above the left pocket is a Fiftieth Anniversary Achievement Award. On the left shoulder is the patch for Dragerton. Utah, a place that doesn't exist anymore. The name became obsolete in 1973 when it joined with another small mining town to become East Carbon, Utah. Found in one of the pockets was a First Class Scout Record for a Bob Cochrane of Troop 300 in Dragerton who almost finished all of the requirements for the award! This card will also be included. The shirt itself is in excellent condition with the sizing information, 14 1/2 Reg, still clearly legible where stamped ... morein the neck. This shirt is in all original and as found condition.
