It is a Dept of The Interior Geological Survey that was compiled in 1966, with this being the 1968 edition. There is a population key; and legend showing such things as State Capitol. Indian Reservations, National Forest, highways and more. This large map measures about 44 inches by 41 inches. And would be wonderful matted, framed and hung up! The cover has come loose at the first staple. But it is only the cover and does not include any pages. There is wear to the edges and the upper left and lower right corner are slightly creased. There is age related yellowing. The map measures 30 1/4" x 21 1/2" There are a no pencil notations on the map. There is age related yellowing, but the colors remain bright. Cellophane tape was used to repair a tear approximately 5" in length where the map is attached to the back cover of the book. Otherwise there are a few holes where the fold creases intersect.
