ANTIQUE NEW YORK STANDARD COMPANY ENGRAVED FULL HUNTER CASE POCKET WATCH USA OLD Up for your consideration is this intricately engraved antique New York Standard Pocket Watch. It is a full hunter case pocket watch. It runs sporadically and is missing the crystal that covers the face. When you open the front and back cover of the watch. They are both engraved with the number"1054707" When you open the cuvette the mechanism is engraved with"New York Standard Watch Company" and the number"4847942" Please be sure to see all the other antique items we have listed. FEATURES: It has a very heavy gold layer that tests as 14k but it is not solid gold. Very ornately engraved(and not yet monogramed) pocket watch with Roman numerals and second hand dial located at 6:00. Full hunter case. It is double hinged and the back ... morecover opens up to a cuvette which also opens to display the mechanism. Based on the engraved serial number located on the inside movement mechanism, we believe that this watch was made sometime before 1900. On the side of the watch located at 3:00, is the hand winding mechanism. On the inside of the back, it is engraved with the numbers 1054707. As you can see from the pictures above, this is a full hunter case pocket watch, which means that it is completely enclosed. Both sides of the case are beautifully engraved with x's, flowers, feathers and stars as can be seen in both pictures#1 and 2. The front of the watch has an"diamond" shaped section in the middle that is as yet un-engraved. ADD. Up for bid is a great vintage. 1972 Popeils pocket fisherman. You will receive the pole, the original bobber, the manual and the plastic case. The condition of the rod is excellent. I do not believe it has had much use. It cast nice and smooth. The original bobber is still attached. There is also a sinker and hook that is attached. This is a great little rod.
