Area 565 on this map now houses the Georgetown University Law Center. This map measures approximately 28 1/2 x 22 1/2 inches. Including the border area. Property specific detail. Map is in color. VERY RARE. This map is from the Real Estate Plat-Book of Washington. District of Columbia. Vol. 1. Comprising the entire North-West Section from the Original Plats of Squares& Subdivisions and Additions upon record in the office of the Surveyor of the City of Washington" Constructed under the direction of and published in 1892 by Griffith M. Hopkins, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Maps this early and showing this much detail of Washington D.C. are VERY SCARCE. The map has fantastic coloring to it. Offering this great pair of coin serving spoons with wonderful swell fiddle handles. Made in Philadelphia. The spoons both have faux hallmarks of a lion passant, head and a capital G, which has been identified as a Philadelphia area mark-see photo. The spoons are also marked S&W in a rectangular cartouche; I have not been able to identify the maker. Both spoons have monograms HMS-see photo. These spoons are in really great condition; there is minor denting or pitting in the bowls. But there are no repairs, bends or pitting. They measure 8 3/4 inches in length and weigh almost 4 troy ounces; see photo. I am offering these lovely spoons at a reasonable starting price with no reserve. Boeing 720 Jet 1960 Framed in a wooden frame by Hurlock Bros Co. Philadelphia Pa
This is a Boeing 720 Jet and it was framed in the 1960s by the Hurlock Bros Co. in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. I had to remove the nails from the back of the frame to clean the glass and I did NOT replace the masking tape. It has faded from the sun over the years since they did not have UV glass back then but it still looks pretty cool. Please look closely at all of these pictures before you make me an offer on it or place a bid. It has a nice patina. If you do not want the old glass. Philadelpia Zoo Animal Book a Guide to the Gardens- Copyright 1964. Fourth Printing 1971 While this is copyright 1964. It is from the 1970s since it was printed in 1971. From what I remember about going there, the timeframe is about right. I'm pretty sure I got both of these and the postcard booklet on the same trip. This guide book is typical of the period in that some pages are black and white and then occasionally there would be a few that were in color. Included in this listing is a Philadelphia Souvenir Postcard Fold-Out Booklet. This is from a trip we took back in either the mid-70's or possibly early 80's- I don't remember exactly. There is a flap on the back that tucks in(see picture 7) and when opened it folds out to several pictures from various places of interest/historical sites in the city. Both of these items ... morehave been stored in a box so the colors are still good- no fading that I can tell. They have not been written on and are not bent. There may be some light wear marks at the folds but there are no tears. Not bad for a paper products that is probably around 40 years old. Please look closely at the pictures and. HELMBOLD'S CATAWBA GRAPE PILLS bottle w/wrapper Philadelphia PA & New York NY
This is a clear glass bottle. Blown in mold, embossed on front"HELMBOLD'S CATAWBA GRAPE PILLS" It was found with the wrapper which was in two pieces. I have used archival repair tape on the back to attach them together and placed it in an archival plastic rigid sleeve to protect it. There are round pink pills in the bottle packed in a sugar like substance(see close up photos) The bottle is 2-13/16" tall, 1" wide and 11/16" deep. The bottle is corked as shown and is in excellent condition with just a hard to see tiny flake off the edge of the lip. The wrapper is as described above and as shown in photos. Not a common pill bottle.

Today, it is run by the state, and Americans recognize Aramco as the world's most valuable company, believed to be worth in the trillions( of dollars. The Philadelphia mint struck these gold trade coins in the late 1940s to be used in payment to Saudi Arabia for oil. He soon became known as an expert in real estate law and the investigation of titles to property, and built up a large practice. Mr. Colahan has served as counsel in litigated eases affecting cases of vast importance, including the court proceedings brought by the heirs of the late Joseph Dugan, General Robert Patterson and Francis A. Drexel. He was one of the principal factors in the organization of the Real Estate Title and Insurance Company of Philadelphia, and was for a long time a director of The Land Title and Trust Company. He was for years chairman of the Board of Censors of the Law of Philadelphia, has been president of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and chairman of its Executive Committee, and vice president of the American Bar Association. One side is stamped Horstmann Phila and the opposite side has a cross shape? stamped at the ricasso. The sword handle hilt measures approximately 6 ½” in length. This is a pocket map of Philadelphia. PA, dated 1895 and published by Rand McNally& Co. The cover has come apart at the seams so it is in 3 pieces but the map is in excellent condition except for a couple places it has separated at the fold. The map measures about 21" x 27" and was a souvenir from Green's Hotel which is pictured on the cover.
