Antique Map of the Estate of Elizabeth Turner in the parish of Fritton, Suffolk
A Map of an ESTATE belonging to Mrs. Elizabeth Turner situated in the Parish of Fritton in the COUNTY of SUFFOLK. The estate map seems to extend to the River Waveny in the west. Magdalen College to the north, and the boundary dividing Fritton and Herringfleet to the south-east. The map itself measures approximately 28.5cm x 17.5cm and is glued to a card measuring roughly 31.7cm x 21.5cm. The condition is not perfect; there's an old fold down the centre and a white mark at the bottom right corner. There are other minor scuffs and imperfections. I'm not sure about the age. For sale. A BEAUTIFUL old"good for" style trade token which actually is good for" GOOD FOR) 10c" at business called" THE JUMBO SHRIMP CO. Which was located in old downtown MORGAN CITY. LOUISIANA This is a very nice token. The town of MORGAN CITY is located in St. Mary and St. Martin Parish. Located near Lake Patourde, La. This is a token I know very little about. I do not own any LOUISIANA exonumia books. Came out of a small collection of trade tokens. THIS IS THE LAST ONE OF THESE I HAVE TO OFFER. This is a nice old token. These old FISHING- SHRIMP COMPANY related tokens are very collectible today. Just looking at the token reminds me of the movie"Forest Gump" Trade token is aluminum. Round, about 19mm in diameter, and it displays very nicely. please see pictures in gallery) Token has not been cleaned in ... moreany way.
