Hawaii State Quarter 2008 With Copper Showing Error RARE
For sale I a Hawaii state quarter 2008 with an error. I have found two coins with this error and I will be listing the other as well. I looked for this error on eBay and other places but haven't found anyone else selling them so I am assuming there very rare. Error: normal state quarters are supposed to just have the inside/middle of the coin with the copper layer but this coin has more than 80% copper content. Also the copper contacts the faces of the coin. THE PICTURE OF THE COIN IS NOT DIRTY. That is the copper on the outside of the coin. The photo is of William W Harris or Bill standing with his surfboard with his initials on the board with a clear view of Diamond Head while standing on the beach at Waikiki. That might even be in the back ground the old Outrigger Canoe Club in the photos. But that is a ... moreguess. This photo is signed to Nancy from Bill Harris. The photo is around 5 by 7 inches and has a tear up along the left edge in the clear sky away from the image as I have photo for you to see. What is nice about this little collection, we also have an original book from the Antwerp Summer games that even has a photo of the Duke in the book.The book is over 150 pages covering the event and was a book published in Finnish for people in Belgium.The book measures around 10 by 7 inches and in very nice shape with many photos.
