There is a 3/4" faint line near the top, but it doesn't feel like a hair line. I think it is part of the crazing from age. It stands about 6" tall and has a diameter of 3" No chips and great color!

Very unusual artsy handcrafted vintage macramé and shell necklace. Purchased from a craft kiosk in Lahaina Maui in the late 70's. This necklace has a long drop and a choker length top: great for cleavage in summer tops. Great with a tank top and jeans. Clasp is two cowrie shells that fit into two loops. See photo. THE SAND DOLLAR OR HOLY GHOST SHELL- Reproduction of Sand Dollar is 3/4 inch circle with 9 inch chain when fastened. The little folder is approximately 1 1/2" by 2 1/4" Explanation: One of the most unusual specimens of marine life. Markings on the shell symbolize the Birth, Crucifixion and Resurrection of Christ. On the top of the shell is an outline of the Easter Lily. At the center the Star of Bethlehem appears. The five openings represent the nail and spear wounds made in the body of Christ during the Crucifixion. The Christmas Poinsettia and bell appear on the back side of the shell.
