This company produced a great deal of restaurant ware and this looks like china that was made by the company in the 1920's. Up for your bidding is this Retro Restaurant Diner Style Sugar Jar Manufactured by Bloomfield Industries. Chicago, Illinois. The sugar dish is 3 3/4 inches high to the metal handle top. Measuring across its 5” at the top of and tapers to 3” at the bottom. It will hold approx. 2 cups. There are no chips or flea bites in the glass. The lid is very secure on the bowl and flips open nicely. A small dent as seen in the photos from the handle hitting across to the other side. 1933 Chicago World's Fair WOOD TREE LIMB BANK Burnt Wood Design
Bank• This is a bank from the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. A Century of Progress. This information, along with a scene of Fort Dearborn(the original name) is burnt onto the front of the wood. It is a piece of thick tree limb, still with some of the nubby bark around the back. There is a small metal disc at the top for coins, and you pry it off to retrieve them. There isn't a whole lot of room inside for coines as the hollowed out center is only 3" deep and about 1" across. There is also a red painted"C" on the top. The bank is 3 3/4" tall and about 2 3/4" across the bottom. Condition is good. This is a piece of real wood. Carved into a bank, so there are uneven areas, scratches to the wood and tiny splits on the bottom and top. The top of the wood is very dark from handling, and there's that red painted"C" ... moreThe metal cap you pry off is also dark with some little bends around the edges from being pried off. This is a large ledger that covers the years 1947-1957. The fourth pictures shows that content of the ledger. The ledger is for Pi Sigma Delta. A sorority of African American girls in Chicago who are mainly in high school. One of the major roles of this sorority appears to be classical dance directed by a Mildred B. Haessler who lived in Highland Park, Illinois. In 1952 the group performed Sleeping Beauty at the Civic Opera House in Chicago.

This is an original 1894 halftone print showing various state buildings. Including the Pennsylvania State Building, which is colonial in style and includes brickwork on the first two stories. Above the building is a grand tower, which is meant to be a reproduction of the clock tower on Independence Hall, a structure that is home to the Liberty Bell. The Delaware Building is Southern ... morein style and contains a wide veranda around it. The structure also has wide arched and pillared entrances. The Delaware Building was one of the first to be completed. The Maryland Building is styled in Corinthian architecture and stands at three stories tall.
