Good condition this baby is solid and heavy as heck all lights work only being sold because divorce is forcing it. I would love to keep it in my man cave forever but I can't. Up for sale is really hip corrugated cardboard vase by Flute of Chicago. The vase was designed by Jerry and Charlotte Garfinkle in the late 1970's to early 1980's. The vase is done in a stunning blue color. It stands 11 inches tall and it's widest diameter is around 15 inches. The vase is in lightly used condition with no major bumps or other issues. First let me says I have very little knowledge about this instrument. So please ask questions or if you need another picture of anything. I am 75 years old and just acquired this xylophone. You are bidding on a very nice looking DEAGAN 870 XYLOPHONE. It comes just as pictured, the original stand, 4 sticks, 44 keys, and everything that is pictured. The bars or keys look very nice and there is no damage and have not been refinished that I can tell, hardly have a dent, the pipes underneath are nice and shinny and are all there, I did see a couple of cracks in a couple of the tubes, small but they were there, the stand has had a repair to one leg as shown in the picture, and I`m not sure but the board on the one end looks a little different than the other end, it has all the same hardware and is oak but might have been replaced thru the years(see ... morepicture) other than that I don`t see anything wrong but as stated I am not an expert and don`t know just what I should be looking at. An extremely rare high school senior album from City of Chicago's Englewood High School in 1934 including noted poet and Pulitzer Prize winner Gwendolyn E. Brooks. The item as a whole measures approximately 9 1/2 x 6 1/24 inches. Ms. Brooks went to three high schools. Hyde Park(all white) Phillips(All Black) and finally for her senior year she attended the integrated Englewood High School. This area is now the most challenged neighborhood in the City of Chicago. Here is a 12 x 16 Snare drum there is a sticker inside that advertises Ludwig And Ludwig Snare drums so maybe this is a Ludwig and Ludwig Too. After a Lot of Looking at other vintage Listings and talking with collecttors on vintage chat rooms we think this is a Leedy Drum. Or could have been made whenthe same company owned Ludwig& Leedy. The rims are the stick chopper straight type and have 10 wholes. If you are looking for a drum to refurbish or if you are looking for parts for another this may be the drum for you. Vintage 1st National Bank Chicago photograph Statement Condition 1947 print bldg
Three items relating to the First National Bank of Chicago. They have been in storage for a long time& are in very nice condition. These works are undated. But they were stored along with several other engravings/etchings dating from the mid-1930s. First is the"Statement of Condition" for the Bank from October 6. 1947. Five printed pages inside, listing names of board of directors& major employees, etc. plus the Bank's finances(dollar amounts of assets& liabilities) Picture of Bank with logo(1st" on front. Looks very good except for a light crease down the middle of all pages(you can see it in the bottom photo below) Booklet measures 6.75" by 9" has 2 staples attaching the sheets together. Next is a glossy photo of the bank building itself. It measures 8" x 10" including white edges) Undated. ... moreBut it was stored with the Statement of Condition& with many items from the 1930s, the cars in the photo are quite old. Very cool old photo. On the back it gives the photographers' names, in pencil it also says"Dearborn& Monroe, the building's location. Photo is in great shape for its age, just a couple of minor creases that are not very noticeable-see photos below. The third item is a print of a drawing of the bank. Measures 7.5" x 11.25. Undated. But it was stored with the other items& seems to be around their age. 3 of the corners are creased, 2 small tears that do not reach into the picture itself, which looks very good except for a light line of discoloration-see photos below. Very interesting historical Chicago items!

This is a rare stone lithographed inner cigar sample label dated 1892 The label shows a building from the Chicago 1893 Columbian Exposition in the background. Produced by George Schlegel There are a few tiny white specs and minor stains at the top margin. All of the labels I'm listing tonight are lithographer's salesman's sample labels. The later sample labels were held into books and booklets with staples or posts. The earlier sample books were produced by pasting labels to pages in a scrapbook like album. The labels I'm listing tonight were from such an album. Quite often pages in these 120 year old albums stuck together leaving tiny white spots on some of the labels when the pages were separated. Up for sale is a Vintage 1871 Chicago Fire Horse Drawn Fire Steamer Carriage Faux Wood Wall Plaque. This wall plaque is made of foam and has a faux wood look to it. It is in good clean condition with all the paint in good condition. This picture shows a horse drawn fire carriage with 2 firemen and the great Chicago fire of 1871. There is a spot of white paint on the top edge that I have shown in the last picture. It measures 20 1/2" tall by 11 38" across by 1 1/8" thick. The pictures are part of this description so please look them over closely. They say pictures are worth a thousand words.
