All Cram's Railway atlases are scarce and rare. No other copies of this map exist. There are three libraries that have microfilm copies of this map. But no other copies are known. Check worldcat.org for yourself. This is an 1902 Railroad map of Arkansas. The map measures 17.5 X 25 inches. Printed and engraved by the George Cram Co. 1899 Large Color Map Arkansas This is a 100+ Year-Old Map- NOT a Reproduction(Scan of Atlas Copyright Page below) Printed on a single sheet with a fold in the center. Bordered map size is about 18.5 x 13.5" with margins sufficient to allow matting or framing-pictured below without the full margins to allow image to load a little quicker. Too big for my large scanner so scanned in two passes and then combined for the image below. A laser-printed facsimile of the copyright information as it appears in the atlas from which this original map was removed will be included. On a peel-off. Self-adhesive sheet. Purchasers who frame their maps frequently affix that copyright statement to the back of the frame. No break on map-scanned in two passes on a large scanner! This color map of Arkansas was taken from a Cram Atlas with 1899 on the copyright ... morepage and 1900 on the title page. Much of the Census material throughout the atlas appears to be from the 1900 Census. But there is some data which has NOT been updated from the 1890 Census. The maps undoubtedly represent conditions as they existed in 1895 to 1899. Principal railroads are shown and labeled. Many of these roads are now defunct while some are still being used-operated by original proprietors or by their successors. Clear demarcation of county borders and a very thorough inclusion of Cites. Town, and even many small Villages. Please see description of grading condition on chart below. See picture for additional information. Free U. S. first class shipping. First class shipping to Canada is $2.00. Description Grade Absolutely crisp: no soil. Wear, or creases. Station stamp is acceptable, as are small wrinkles introduced in printing. Age toning acceptable only if even. MINT As above. But minor edge wear seen. Light pencil marking okay. Age toning may be uneven. NEAR MINT As above. Professional routing marks or a minor annotation okay. Creases show usage. But map has not been misfolded. EXCELLENT As above. But wear is evident. Corners of inner creases may be beginning to separate, but less ... morethan 1 cm. May be rippled from water damage/high humidity but may not be foxed. Any dogear creases are not torn. There may be single tack holes. Map may have been misfolded. VERY GOOD As above. But separations extend less than half a panel span. If tears are not on a crease, each is less than 1 cm. Writing may be significant but does not damage front cover design. Map may be brittle but can be still opened flat without damage. Soil or scuffs can be present, but food or oil is absent. Fading is extensive. This is a great little tour guide of the Ozark Frontier Trail. 1967, of Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas. The colorful map shows the numbered location of significant historical spots in each state. On the back side. There is a description of the capital of each state and then gives a wider description of places to go and things to see and do in each state. The Ozark Trail was a network of locally maintained roads and highways organized by the Ozark Trails Association that predated the United States federal highway system.
