The highest price is for Cutter Plates for the Large chopper at $3.50. I would say the prices indicate that this chopper is probably from the 1940's maybe earlier. The package insert states: Made of precision milled iron casting. Sanitary Rust-Resistant finishes. Long handle leverage for easier operation. A vintage American kitchen classic made in New Britain. Connecticut by the Landers, Frary and Clark(L.F&C) Company, which famously invented this time-saving"Universal" food grinder in 1897. This sturdy. Quality-made cast iron grinder has a wooden handle and includes 2 additional disc attachments in addition to the one already on it. A precursor to modern food processors, it clamps to the edge of a counter and is cranked by hand. Antique meat grinder by L. F. C. New Britain Conn(USA) No. 1 Universal Food Chopper This meat grinder is old and has loads of patina. Just the way collectors like it. I have not tried to clean it, nor have I disassembled it. The handle turns as it should, and the wing nut that holds the blade assembly together turns as it should as well.
