Cutter Old Vintage Antique 3 Way Push Button Light Switch Tested Working
Up for sale is an antique 3 Way Push Button Light Switch made by Cutter in great condition. I tested it and it does switch on and off properly. It is a 3-way switch. But if you dont need the 3 way it will work just fine as a regular switch. It has the right nice crisp snap when pushing the buttons, the buttons are nice and solid. It is stamped Cutter on the top of the switch and it is moulded into the back in the porcelain. This would be a great switch for your vintage house.

You are bidding on one Sargent 2-3/8" plane iron as pictured. The stamp was tipped when the mark was struck. But it appears to be the"SARGENT& CO USA NEW HAVEN CT" mark, and not the earlier mark where USA is missing. 2-3/8" is the nominal size, and actual width is a full 2-3/8" instead of being closer to 2-5/16" as is typical. Overall length is about 7-11/16" Also included are the 2-3/8" again nominal size) chipbreaker and chipbreaker screw. The chipbreaker came to me with the iron. And appears to be original. Condition of the iron is mostly good but with some pitting. On the logo(flat) side. There is pitting within 5/16" of the sharp edge, a small bit of scattered pitting above that, and then quite a bit of really really light pitting above where the chipbreaker would be. It will want a final ... moresharpening and cleaning. Condition of the chipbreaker is fair to good. With quite a bit of pitting, mostly very light. Both the iron and the chipbreaker have a bit of a glossy appearance, and were probably carefully cleaned with a soft slow-speed wire wheel, but not aggressively cleaned with a regular wire wheel. Lot of 3 Antique Cutter Quilts-2 Full Size-1 Baby Quilt
This is a lot of three old quilts which have been packed away for a long time. They are as found-have not been washed or cleaned and they do need TLC. One is a small baby's size quilt-size 36"x54" It is worn and has been repaired somewhat. It is very interesting in that it appears that inside is another quilt and even perhaps this was cut down from a larger quilt many. Many years ago. It is machine stitched. This is the lighter colored one shown in the second photo. The quilt shown in the third photo which has a lot of red is size 65"x78" It is made of small squares with the larger part of the center being all reds, then mixed colors on the outer edges. It also needs repairing, and is machine stitched. The quilt shown in the fourth photo is mostly in blues, is machine stitched and measures 80"x78" It is done ... morein the 9-patch pattern. Antique Vintage Primitive CUTTER Quilt TOP/Block Panel c.1870-80 CIVIL WAR ERA or earlier. This was bought from a Lancaster County. Pennsylvania antique dealer in the 1980's. Size: The quilt top panel of 2 blocks is approx. 21 inches long by 9 inches wide and the accompanied BLUE block is 12" long by 9.5" wide. The small Half-square triangles are 1.5" The 3 large Half-square triangles are 11.5 by. 8.5 and one is pink stripes. One is blue stripes. This pattern is difficult to piece and it is beautifully sewn by HAND. Color: The sashing is blue and white and 2 of the blocks have pink and white STRIPES. There are Mourning prints. Tan, Cadet Blue, Red prints and Shirtings. See an explanation of these fabrics in the 1860 section of Eileen Jahnke Trestain's book"DATING FABRICS A Color Guide 1800-1900" There are ... moresome small light storage spots.
