This is a very rare antique CHEESE grater made by Alexanderwerk of Germany. I listed it under the"meat grinder" ebay category for lack of a better listing catergory. And I noted"meat grinder" in the listing"title" for this item merely for searching purposes. The grater is in good original. Unrestored condition as you can see from the photographs. I do NOT profess that it is in"excellent" or"pristine" condition, but it has weathered its 70- 100 years of age quite well. It is a very attractive, unusual piece and still displays the original cupid decal(painting? as well as a decal reflecting what I interpret to be the manufacturer and"product line" of the grater; Alexanderwerk, Reibemaschine" The cheese grater stands approximately 16 inches tall and weighs about 6.7 pounds. NOV 29, 1904 This vintage hand crank meat grinder is in pretty good condition. All parts are functional. It is a"Trade Steinfeld" brand. No. 21, with adjustable grind settings built in, coarse, medium and fine, no need to change blades, which made it real easy to use. It measures 11" tall. 3 1/2" around the mouth, and it is VERY HEAVY at 5 lbs. It has a 3" wood handle. Please keep in mind that this is a free shipping item and it is pretty heavy. You ... moredon't have to pay for shipping, but I do, therefore, I am starting the bidding a little higher to compensate for the shipping charges that I will be incurring. As can be seen in the pictures. It is quite tarnished, and that is normal considering that it is so old and probably was heavily used during its lifetime. This is an extremely rare Keystone model 120 meat grinder in great condition. This meat grinder has an antique wooden board attached with antique screws and nails. The board attached to this meat grinder makes this grinder extremely rare and a hard to find item. The meat grinder is in excellent condition with barely if any rusting and all of it's parts there and working. The meat grinder has two grinding attachments that go with it. Making it even rarer. Scratches, and discoloration throughout and it's missing a piece: the ring. It is definitely not perfect but a great example of era gone by. The inside looks poor and shows rust. The inscription on one side of the grinder reads: C.I.C. Boyertown. The other side reads: 20 Keystone. The stand reads: Made in USA. It's a collector's dream item.
