This item is an antique miitary grinder. The item was purchased in Italy in 1975 at the Balon in Turin. The item is primarily iron and weights approximately 9 pounds. The photographs show it in the assembled ready to move condition. In its parts and in its assembled condition ready to grind. I was told it was German but am not certain. There are no marking on the case. It is extremely well made. This would be a geat addition to a civil war reenactment kitchen. Will ship in US only.

This 19th century wooden pestle measures 11" long and is made of one solid piece of turned hard wood and shows many years of use.
