Hello. You are viewing my sale for an Antique L. F& C. Meat Grinder Arm. This solid steel arm has a wooden handle on the one end. The opposite side has a threaded shaft which would be inserted into a meat grinder machine. This is a very old piece of early machinery. On the actual solid metal turn arm are the following words in raised lettering: L.F&C. NEW BRITAIN.CONN.U.S.A. On the opposite side of the solid metal turn arm are dates and numbers that are in a raised form along the handle. These dates that are detailed go as far back as 1897-1900. Please view my photos to see how unusual and old these dates are and the style in which they were labeled into the handle. The actual arm measures 9" long, straight on a wavy handle) The wooden round end measures 3" long. The end corkscrew assembly measures 5" long including ... morethe threaded end. It turns and has front screw attached however it looks like the wing-nut was repaired and attached to a newer screw at the end. Possibly because the original nut was stripped.
