Measuring approx. 10”x8”x4” can be put to good use in the kitchen or serve as a unique decorative piece. This chopper is in great vintage condition, still with its original wooden knob on the hand crank handle. There is some age tarnish to the metal and a couple small, light scuffs in the finish of the wood handle, but should clean up nicely and look great. Up for auction is a working Model#2 Universal Food Chopper that connects to a flat surface while you grind nuts. Meat, cheese, or whatever. It definitely needs a good cleaning. It comes with it's original box that's in acceptable shape. It is heavy. Made of heavy cast iron by Landers Frary& Clark of New Britain. Connecticut. It measures a little over 9 inches high. The grinder blades, brace screw, and parts of the grinder have some rust on them that will comes off with some steel wool. There are three different grinder blades. An arm that connects to the grinder and a screw that holds the arm on. The handle of the arm has a wooden handle. This cast iron. Hand-operated Universal Food and Meat Chopper#2 is in very clean& functional condition, with five cutter blades for coarse, medium and fine chopping. The food chopper is stored unassembled in original box with warranty. The box still has the Macys store label from where this was apparently purchased. There is no instruction sheet included. Contents of the box include: grinder; chopping auger with feed screw end; wooden crank handle; five cutter blades; wing nut; and crank screw. The chopper clamps onto a table edge or counter with built-in clamp. This food chopper was“Made in U.S.A. Condition: Clean& shiny with just some occasional minor rust. Wooden handle clean with no chips or splintering. Box is solid but shows some spots and staining inside and out.
