Some of the dates are 1890's to early 1900's.Grinder is very old, but does have all parts except the flat that would attach under counter or mounting board. Does work. Old UNIVERSAL NO. 2 MEAT GRINDER Chopper Three Discs L.F.& Co. New Britain CT
An old. Antique meat grinder made by L.F. Co. New Britain, Connecticut, in the late 1890's or early 1900's. Made of iron. Marked, Universal 2" There are several patent dates on the handle starting in 1897. It has a wood grip. There are there discs, one for course meet, one unknown, and one marked, Nut Butter Grinder" It appears to be in good working condition. Except the wing nut on the handle side does not turn. That would release the handle. Approximately 11" long and 6" across. Shipping is by economy parcel post.

Antique meat grinder by L. F. C. New Britain Conn(USA) No. 1 Universal Food Chopper This meat grinder is old and has loads of patina. Just the way collectors like it. I have not tried to clean it, nor have I disassembled it. The handle turns as it should, and the wing nut that holds the blade assembly together turns as it should as well.
