For sale is a very cool antique red velvet footstool. This spool style foot rest is made of wood and covered in red velvet. It appears to some kind of velvet like fabric attached to it. The carvings are spectacular and command attention yet subtle that they are not overdone for your decor. The wood is chestnut and is fine in color I've taken pictures inside and out to give you the true color as best I can. The size is also remarkable in that it can fit in most any entry way or bedroom you name it this is the size most want as it is isn't overpowering. 48" wide by 18" depth by 32" to the handrail and 36" to the top of the crown on the figural carved Henry II King of France from 1547-1559. He had many ties to Brittany thus the fine figural carved motif on this bench. You will be amazed at how difficult it has become ... moreto find good antiques such as these in this type of condition. The bench seems to be all original as far as I can tell. the crown on Henry II has some wear as this is where one would place their hands, to be expected to see normal wear in the correct places such as this. Four faublous intricately carved Griffin panels two on each side and two in the back. This bench would be great with a needlepoint panel on the seat, I have one listed this week if you, take a look at our other auctions. The part I was most impressed with is the top when you stand near this bench the carving are easy to see and you don't have to bend to see them like many where they are usually only on the front or back or lower portion. Antique Folk Art Three legged Cow Horn Stool
You are bidding on a three legged cow horn stool. I consider this folkart as most likely it was made by a man in his spare time in his farm shop. I do not have an age on this stool. I would guess somewhere between 1880's and 1930's. Stool is oblonged shape and is approximately 11 inches long by 8 inches wide and six inches tall. The stool has been recovered and the covering is held in place by thumb tacks. The stool is very solid. I believe these are cow horns as American bison horns are black. Nice piece of Americana. Antique pub stool with handle cut in.
We are offering a unique antique pub stool made in Scotland possibly as early as the 1780s but at least by 1810 or so. You can see the wear on the wood from the boots on the rails. The top has a slot for a handle so you could pick it up easily to move from area to area. It has mortise and tenon joints with a brass inlaid strip around the seat for support. There is an age and use crack in the seat but it is not in danger of breaking apart. The stool is 19"l x13.75" wide and 25" high. We sell only quallity items so buy with confidence. This is a RARE antique folding buggy seat. Circa late 1800s, made by“The New I.D. Seat Company” for the Fernald Mfg. Co. of North East. PA. Patented Oct. 15. 1895. It has a lovely moss green, deep red and gold tapestry piece edged in black leather on the top for a child to sit on as well as one on the bottom section. The frame of the buggy seat. Made from 3/8" iron, folds up flat, scissor-style. The thick tapestries are in nice condition with only some minor fraying on the edges. The black leather binding is worn a bit as can be seen in the photos. But, after all, this little buggy seat is over 110 years old! Research on the maker. The New I.D. Seat Company indicates that they produced these seats as auxiliary seats for horse-drawn buggies and carriages in and around 1895. The wooden seat and existing cast iron hardware are also in good condition for their age. There is a piece of the cast iron component that looks like it's missing from the very end(shown in the last 2 pictures) It's missing the wood inserts that fit between the legs. It may have had a back rest? The casters look original. They roll but are rusty. Missing a small piece of wood from the lower part of one of the legs. Shown in a picture. 1890's Antique Phone Chair A true one of a kind piece. A chair, that could also double as a bench or sofa, has emasculate details. From the intricate design of the wood to the unique stuffing used within the chair. The chair is believed to be from 1890's because of the odd straw stuffing. The rolling castor wheels and the position of the arm rest, which was used to hold a vintage telephone. It has been re-upolstered by"Elbert W. A burlap fabric has been used to re-upolster the bottom cushion along with what looks to be the back of the back cushion. This exquisite antique French vanity bench is totally style Louis 16th and Marie-Antoinette. The wooden parts are beautifully carved and the seat carries a gorgeous pale old gold patina. It has survived in pretty good condition. There is some minor loss to the canework of the bench in the middle of the seat, fortunately there is the bar below and the defect is less visible. There is also some"rubbing" to the raised parts or edges. Please look closely at the photos as they are important part of the description. EBONY INLAID FOOTSTOOLS BRASS BANDING
Up for your consideration is a wonderful pair of ebony footstools with sting inlay. Brass rope-twist embellishment, black porcelain feet and possibly original upholstering. Each stool measures 11 inches in diameter and 4 inches in height. They have a few bumps here and there that can be expected from footstools of this age, but otherwise are in great condition. Fantastic primitive bench. Carved from oak I believe, with the year 1860 stamped on the bottom. Seat flips up and has ample storage inside. Carvings are beautiful. One finial missing from the top and there is some old water damage to the bottom, particularly on the left, but the piece is very stable and strong. Wood has amazing shiny, soft patina.Very heavy and impressive. 37" high; 35" wide; 15" deep. Seat is 16" off the ground. I recommend TSC Movers but am available to help with shipping arrangements.

Decent Mid 1800's Antique Empire Style Foot Stool
I picked this up some time ago because it is in decent condition has great age and a good look and I believe it to be Empire style. The material is not bad and the black spot is a little hole with black thread that would be very easy to color. I did not want to try to hide it and this would be very easy to reupholster to whatever material matches room best if desired. It is structually sound and finish is very good with minor wear. Beautiful Needlepoint floral pattern.
