The metal side panels have a very elaborate intricate and remarkable design and include a removable metal cup on each side. These could be used for multiply purposes ie. Drink holder, ashtray, pen holder, makeup holder etc Imprinted on the inside of the metal on both side pieces have markings OW1-1123 other one OW1-1124. Each leg is imprinted E1210. The approximate overall measurement across 31” and 13" at its widest point. The seat portion measures 24” x 12 ½” The distance from floor to seat height is 16" The distance from floor to top of seat arms is 19” There are a removable metal cup seated in each arm rest one is 2 ½” ... morex 2 ¾” depth and the other is 3” x 2” depth. There are 9 pieces to the entire bench. 1 seat, 2 arm rest, 4 legs, and 2 cups) which will have to be dismantled for safe shipping. All nuts and bolts to reassemble are included. The fabric on the bench is a green and deep blue/gray. There are no rips or tears on the fabric. This can easily be replaced with fabric more for the period of the piece. The model has an 8 wheel Underfloor Drive. It is wired for two rail pick-up. The model has been painted for the Third Avenue Railway System(TARS) A very dificult model to paint as the body does not disassemble. There are no Chips or Scratches on the model. The model is used. Gunsmith Brass Range/Cleaning/Bench Rod 36" 5/16-24 Threaded 'T' for Pulling
This is a custom made gunsmith quality solid brass range/cleaning/bench rod for muzzleloaders. This 3/8" diameter rod is 36" long and has a removable 1/2" T' handle on one end. The working end is threaded 10-32. I've been building these rods for use at my bench for years. I've also built them for other gunsmiths. This rod will stand up to pulling the stubborn stuck ball or bullet. Instead of the standard 10-32 steel set screw to hold the'T' on. I've threaded the outside of the rod 5/16-24 so the'T' wont snap off. I've pounrd the'T' with a hammer and even put weights on the rod to make a sliding hammer puller. I dont really suggest all this, but it's tough. This rod is 3/8" in dia. so it will work on barrels.45 and larger. RARE 50's VINTAGE BRASS DOUBLE SWANECK LABORATORY BENCH WATER TAPS VGC
On offer here are a great pair of late 50's vintage brass swaneck laboratory water taps. That are just as the auction pictures shows them, measuring 14" or 36cm from the base plate to the top of each tap high. They are in a superb"pre-owned" condition that were working well when removed from a college laboratory some years ago.
