The wood is nicely detailed with turned wooden legs. The top of each leg is decorated with a carved flower that interrupts the round sides. Wood if cleaned and oiled will transform. Antique Needlepoint Mahogany Paneled Footstool Sewing Cabinet w/ 2 Drawers This is an excellent antique mahogany foot stool with a needle point top and 2 drawers and paneled sides and back. The drawers are dovetailed and i would guess this was made in the early 1900's. Perhaps even as early as 1890. The cabinet has some wear, mainly around the feet but no cracks, breaks or repairs. It is very solidly constructed and is still as solid as the say it was made. This footstool is child size. It is 10-1/2" long. 8" wide, and 6" high. The wood has lots of wear with scratches and dents all along the edges and corners. The needlepoint is dirty. Antique Cast Iron Art Nouveau Footstool Gothic Faces Needlepoint
Offering an antique cast iron footstool with a needlepoint top. It has legs that are hoof like and faces on the center support of each end. There is a twisted bar to stabilize the legs and the stool is quite heavy. The covered was replaced in 1966 as dated on the bottom. The stool measures 16 inches in length and 10 inches in width with no breaks or cracks or stains. I'm not sure if the blue eyes are original or someone has added color. Super heavy stool! Shipping will be Fed Ex ground or Priority Mail with tracking. All of my offering are estate pieces and as such I cannot guarantee that they have not been exposed to pets. Perfume or smoke. Vintage English Victorian Antique Floral Needlepoint Footstool Burgundy Pretty This auction is for a vintage needlepoint footstool. It has Burgundy material with floral needlepoint work. It measures 16 inches wide. 9 inches deep and about 7 1/2 inches high. I believe that it is from England as I purchased it with a load of antiques from England and Belgium. It appears to be quite old but I don't know the exact age. It is sturdy and can be used with no problems. Due to it's age it looks like it has been repaired. It has had steel reinforcements added underneath the piece and you can see the brackets in the pictures. It also has some spots where the wood is chipped off. 3 of the 4 small wood scrolls on the inside corners have been broken off. That is not very noticeable but I wanted to point it out. Presenting an antique carved walnut wooden footstool in the Chippendale style with a neat needlepoint upholstery on the top. It reads"Travel East. Travel West, After All- Home is Best" along with a very attractive stagecoach scene. It m easures 12" by 14" and 5 3/4" tall. The needlepoint is in good condition with no rips or tears. There are two frayed threads on the outer edge and a few light stains that I did not try to clean. I have shown the worst side of the stool in most of the photos. The stool does need some work. Two of the feet have a thin sliver or strip(about 1/8" thick) gouged from them. One foot has a small chip on the edge. And there is one old age fissure in the wood just above ... moreone foot. Offered for auction today. Is this gorgeous antique carved wood and needlepoint footstool. It measures 15" x 10" x 8" Heavily carved wood. The frame appears to be oak but not sure what the dark carved wood is. It is just lovely. Overall very good condition and totally usable and sturdy. There are some scuff marks here and there due to light use and the mustard yellow needlepoint is in very good condition with no stains or spots that I could find. There are a couple of places on the corners where it looks as if a piece of the carving may have chipped off a long time ago. Also on the underside of one of the feet there is a chip that you can only see when turning the stool upside down. There are also some scratches and scuffs on the feet but nothing extraordinary. Petit point. Needle point and the lion is done with a higher almost hooked technique. With stone eyes. The stool measures 17" x 12" and 8" high. There are couple very minor holes to right of lions face in cloth and some old moth damage on the under wrapped side. There are some scratches and chips in the wood. But overall in good condtion. I have for your consideration a Antique Cast Iron Footstool with a Needle Pointed Cover. Cast iron base is in black. There is some minor chipping to the paint and underneath there is evidence of a gold color paint. The top in upholstered in a vintage black ground needle point with oval beige center surrounded by flowers and leaves. The center of the oval beige has a bouquet of flowers done in petit point. Footstool in in very nice condition with no breaks or repairs. Needlepoint is very nicely executed. When needlepoint was placed onto the footstool. Some of the needlepoint canvas was left exposed, look at photo#8 for a closer look. It can only be seen if stool is turned upside down. Estate find! Lovely little ornate wood and cast iron footstool with a needlepoint top featuring a floral pattern. The footstool measures 10 1/2" in diameter and stands a total of about 6 1/2" tall. Antique Small Folding Footstool Stepstool-Needlepoint Top-C.1920-30's
A nice old folding stool which I was told was to be used as a step stool for climbing up into old cars from the 1920-1930 era. I don't know if the needlepoint top would have been used then or if it is something which was added later. The needlepoint is old. Has faded some and does show some wear but there are no holes in it. Two of the corners have been stitched over to cover the wood but two corners have not. The stool is made of wood, the legs fold under and there is a bar which'locks' the legs in place. The piece measures approx. 9 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 4 1/2" tall when opened. This makes a very nice stand for display and really cute for displaying dolls. Great little stool.

There are a variety of vines, leaves and flowers intricately carved on the base. Both the wood and the fabric show wear commensurate with it's age. Original springs and burlap covering remain.
