Mid Century Eames Era Bevco Drafting Stool Chair Industrial Sewing machine
Vintage. Hard to find, Industrial Eames Era, Industrial original BEVCO stool in good condition but used condition.Has the nice wood saddle seat and contoured back rest. Both seat and backrest are adjustable. Has original BEVCO tag on back rest and shows normal wear from use. Everything works as suppose too.There were a couple pieces of duct tape on back rest and I removed them which shows a little residue left but will come off. Vintage 1950's Singer Sewing Stool Very Nice Condition! Mahogany or Walnut?
Up for auction is a very nice Singer Sewing Stool from the mid 1950's. The stool is Mahogany or Walnut(not sure) The wood is beautiful. I recovered the seat myself. When I got the stool it had a worn piece of ugly vinyl on it. I bought some new soft vinyl and put new seat foam in as well. The new vinyl is stapled to the bottom of the seat just as the old cover was. I also refinished the wood by sanding the old finish off and putting on a red mahogany stain and 2 coats of satin finish polyurethane. The finish isn't perfect. But I think it looks great for my first project. The seat comes off for storage and the stool is sturdy. This would also make a nice piano bench. I will be removing the legs for shipping purposes. The seat is 18' high and is 15½' X 15½' The covering has no tears or holes although it does have a few small scrapes and spots. Overall though. It is in very good solid condition. Vintage Sewing Machine Cabinet Foot Stool
This is a vintage foot stool that was part of a sewing machine cabinet that dates to the 1930's. To me it is incongrous and if I hadn't seen it with the cabinet I would have never put the two items together. It is made of the same wood(I believe walnut) as the cabinet was. The cabinet had solid walnut legs and a veneered top. This stool for lack of a better term is approximately 15" wide. 10" deep, and 10" tall. The top is covered in old dried out leather. On the bottom(pictures 4 and 5) is a partial label that says, The Lake Side Sheboykan, WI. There are other words I can't make out. It shows a man using an old fashioned block plane on a piece of wood. Even though it's old it is very sturdy. Thanks for looking.

This chair was paired up with a cabinet sewing machine that was most likely a Necchi Nora model. But that has not been with the chair for quite some time. It is a unique sewing machine stool bench chair with a hidden storage drawer that opens on the right side. It is mid century modern time period, most likely the 50's. The vinyl seat is an avocado green and is a softer green than the'chair pad' reads in the picture and truer to the color in the'full chair' pictures. The chair measures: 16 1/2" wide X 28 1/2" tall X 15 1/2" deep. The chair is extremely sturdy and functional. It would also be the perfect chair for a computer desk with the extra hidden storage drawer. It is more of a blonde colored wood in oak and would look beautiful restrained or painted.

The seat graduates from 19" in the back of the chair to approximately 22 and 1/2" in the front. The chair is approximately 15" deep and is 20" high in the back and 17" high in the front of the chair. The back of the wood seat has some nicks in the wood frame which I tried to highlight in the pictures. The seat itself is in excellent shape. Practical footstool needs some tlc to bring it back to display shape. The piece is very solid and the hinge is great. It's a nice size. Paper lining inside is presentable. But the outside material is dirty, stained and torn in spots and needs replacing. Wooden ball feet are solid and surprisingly have no nicks. Stoll measures 7" tall. Carved Antique Eastlake Victorian Walnut Sewing Stool w/ Hinged Lid
This is a very nice antique Eastlake Victorian walnut lift top stool. It measures 21 1/2" wide x 19" high x 9" deep with the seat being 10" x 20" It has been refinished/ restored at some point. There are new brackets at the corners inside the top. There is some glue residue at the joints of the dowels on the bottom which you can see in the last two pictures we posted. It was probably made by a loving husband for his wife or son for his mother. The bench is wood with a blue faux leather padded seat. Painted on one side. Are the initials, H.M.B" The bench is 17 inches tall, 17 inches long, and 8 inches deep. The original metal latch has both parts and screwed on with slot head screws. The original metal back hinges are also screwed on with slot head screws(one side has both flat and round head screws) The original finish has gorgeous alligatoring. The outside does have age wear and the inside bottom on one side has small pieces of wood missing. The lid opens smoothly and is held in place.On the left side, by heavy string threaded through and tied ... moreoff on metal supports. The right side has the metal supports, but no string. At one time, it looks like the right side had a different way of holding the lid in place(see pics) The inside is painted white which has darkened over the years. The paint has scratches. Wear, and writing on it. The inner tray rests on side support brackets and easily lifts out. The tray is 15 inches long, 7 inches deep, and 1 1/2 inches tall. All of the contents are included. There are: wood thread spools. A 1963 D Lincoln head penny, Boye wood needle case, needles, snaps, purse handles(shown in tray- both are cracked) brush cleaner(shown in tray- metal case) LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of zippers that are new and used, seam binding, buckle and belt set, elastic and a little misc. Metal pad feet on bottom of the legs. Looks like Mahogany Lifts up for storage and has a hinged board which serves to put the seat at an angle or slant. Sturdy and good condition with the padded upholstery seat which is somewhat threadbare and needs a redo. A few marks and nicks. Not unexpected for a piece of this age.
