This is an Arts& Crafts Mission Oak Foot Stool made with solid white Oak. This is a quality reproduction of the 100 year old Stickley piece. Which are very rare and when found are usually not in good condition. is very sturdy, solid and very well made with alot of attention to details. The stain is medium to dark with hand rubbed lacquer finish just like the orignal old stickley pieces were made. I have a matching pair. Let me know if you are interested. It is not only a handsome piece. But very practical. I think it has been used or displayed in every room of my home over the years. I would imagine this dates to the early 1900's. Measurements are 14" long(top) x 10" wide x 10 1/4" tall. With a thick 1" board on top. It is solid oak- partially quartersawn- and has a wonderful patina with beautiful grain. It appears to be handmade and very nicely crafted, with even some nails that look squared. There are small felt pads on the bottom of each foot which I added so it wouldn't scratch my hardwood floors. ... moreThese can be easily removed. The condition of this piece is Excellent. It is sturdy and solid as a rock. Mission Oak Style Foot Stool, Newly Crafted, Quartersawn Oak, Brown Leatherette
Made by me. An old retired guy with not much else to do. Made of quarter sawn red oak, all glued and dowelled, no screws or nails. The only screws hold the padded top to the frame. The stool measures 10-1/4" by 13-1/4" and stands 9" tall. Stained with medium golden oak and finished in a tobacco brown pebble finish leatherette. USA sales only. Here is my latest one, it measures approximately 11-1/2" by 13-1/2" and stands 11" tall. All construction is glued and dowelled and is rock solid. I have made it of quarter sawn red oak, stained it medium golden oak and the covering is bonded leather, tobacco brown in color, small pebble finish. Wisc. arts and craft mission stool. it appears to be all original including the tacks to fasten down the leather top. it also has 4 original brass buttons on the top. it is as solid as a rock and does not wiggle, wobble, or move in any way. the leather top is in good condition with no rips or tears. this is a very fine early mission piece, the legs are one piece with a portion of the top of each leg turned into a swirl like pattern. it is jointed together in an excellent fashion, no nails or screws used except the original carpet tacks for the leather top. it is 15.25 inches by 15.25 inches and 13.5 inches tall. it can go ups or parcel post at a minimal expense which is the buyers responsibility. good luck

Up for auction is a oak mission foot stool. It is 17 3/4 inches wide by 11 3/4 inches. It is 14 inches high at each corner post and 13 1/2 high in between. The original Leather top is 9 1/4 inches by 15 1/4 inches. It is good condition very sturdy with a few scuffs and scratches and a small patch on the leather that looks like there was a label or tape on it a one time( pictures 11 and 12) it only shows up in the bright sun light. It may just need some black shoe polish, please see pictures for condition I've taking pictures of all 4 sides, other wise in all it is in great shape.
