Pair of Edwardian Period Needlepoint Upholstered Stools Probably England. Circa 1900-15 These fine stools are crafted of solid mahogany. Hand crafted into perfect frames for tight needlepoint scenes. Each scene is a unique and carefully stitched two dimensional country scene of a maiden among trees and foliage with animals in the foreground. The legs are straight and plain, squared and solidified with a stretched gallery of turned rods along all sides of each stool. The underside of each stool cushion is a faux leather nailed around the edges. The finish is a deep polish over the mahogany stain, glowing throughout with a well developed patina across the stools. This gorgeous pair will make an outstanding addition to any place in the home- they are visually unique and add incredible flavor to any setting. Pair Mid-Century Modern Benches/Coffee Table 48" Iron Hairpin Legs Vintage
Pair of vintage 60's benches that may be put together to use as a coffee table or used individually as benches. Each is 48" long by 11 7/8" wide with the top board being 1 1/8" thick and clear wood. They stand 18 1/2" tall. The rod iron legs are over 3/8" thick but not quite 7/16" thick. Legs themselves stand 16 1/2" tall with the mounting braces measuring 4 7/8" long each way. Each leg is held on by 3 long screws. Each bench is missing a round rubber foot on a leg so there are 6 good legs and 2 that need something on them. Original owners just had a 1/4" piece of plywood nailed into what was left of the rubber foot but that was actually too thick. One of the legs had the mounting brace bent some but I straightened it up pretty decent with a hammer. If you just want the legs and not the boards ... moreshipping would be cheaper. Boards have finish wear.Some staining and a few small nicks. Staining actually looks like the varnish/shellac got damp and bled white.
