Cool vintage hand-formed hanging clay planter from Mexico. I've had this a long time but never used it as a planter; I'd date it to the 80s. In excellent condition; pretty much the way it was the day of creation. Nothing is perfectly symmetrical or evenly spaced. Which is part of its beauty. It has three holes inserted in the shoulders for cord to hang it; I've never used them. Great size: 7" wide. 4" tall, with a 3.25" diameter opening. The clay shade is a bit less pinkish/peach and more of a natural tone than the photos indicate. This is just going to be packed away for too long. So it needs a new home where it will be used and enjoyed. Shipping: please use the calculator. Sadly. This script was adopted by all the major civilizations of Mesopotamia for recording their distinct languages, including the Sumerians, Akkadians, Assyrians, and Babylonians. Clay tablets were the preferred media for everyday writing because they could either be easily recycled or, if a permanent record was required, fired in a kiln and preserved. So it's clean) and it is in excellent, like new condition. This tent differs from most American tents because when you pitch it the poles are inserted in the rainfly and the inner tent hangs below. This is fantastic because it makes it super easy to setup and in bad weather the inside is shielded from the elements. No more having to deal with a flapping rainfly as you set it up in a stiff wind. It also makes it stronger and allows you to guyout right to the pole sleeves. The inside is nylon with two huge doors that are backed with mesh. This is great for use in the snow and in the desert as it keeps sand and snow from blowing in the tent. It also ... moregives you more privacy when using just the inner tent without the rainfly. You can open up the mesh and roll back the vestibules for great ventilation on warm nights. Old tiles from a building in Chicago or the area in very good condition. They are 15" square and around 5" thick. Three have original brick and mortar fill used to attach to the original building. I did not try to remove for fear of damaging the tiles. So those three tiles are very heavy. I am able to deliver for the cost of gas within 40 miles of Chicago or hold until you can pick them up/arrange for shipping. It has clay beads with what looks like tiny springs separating the beads. The pendant part is enamel over copper with the face being clay and the head piece on the face the enamel over the copper. I do not know anything about this piece. I don't know the maker or the age. This measures 22" approx. with the pendant and dangles measuring approx. 4 1/2" more. Ancient Chinese Terracotta Figures
These two antique terracotta Chinese statues were purchased from an estate sale. The man was an avid collector of Chinese antiques. The statues are in fantastic conditions considering their age. They have an old dirt scent to them. The taller one measures close to 7 1/2" tall and the other close to 7 1/4" tall. They are very fragile. I have kept them in a glass display curio and do hope the same with them. My other Chinese objects also came from the same estate sale.

The soldier is made of terracotta ceramic and is hand made. It measures 8 1/4 inches tall x 2 1/2 inches at its widest point. The base is 1 3/4 x 2 Inches. This item was brought back from China in the 1990's. It comes from the estate of a family member. Please note the condition is all original but the head has been glued/ repaired at the neck. Please see the detailed pictures. Ironically the original life size figures were made in pieces and then assembled. The original heads would have been attached separately to the body as well.
