GORGEOUS vintage plate with 24 karat gold and hand painted center.This is 1 of a set of 11 amazing plates that I will be auctioning off today.each one has a different scene and is a separate auction.These plates were part of an estate and have been packed away for at least 11 years and probably more like 20-25 years.These are from the Bohemia Ceramics Works and the mark is from 1921-1945.This is a very fine porcelain maker in Czechoslovakia.they were chosen by Czechoslovakia to represent their country and make the china for the 1939 World's Fair.Rosenthal. From Rosenthal china was a partner from 1922-45. Each plate was hand painted by the same artist, Rochet.Beautiful details in the gold work.Please note that the close-ups are taken using magnification and it shows the colors as lighter and some dots which you don't see by the naked ... moreeye.Plate is 10.75" round.This plate shows a 2 Greek or Roman ladies with urns. Rare Early Pope Gosser Clarus Ware Gold Goddess Roman Plate Antique
Up for your consideration is a beautiful. Antique Clarus Ware 10" plate depicting two Roman women in the forest gathering flowers while a young male is seated and looks on. Gorgeous plate dating from 1903-1908 when the Clarus Ware seal and stamp were used. This company later went by the Pope-Gosser China company. Roman gold finger ring. A fine Roman gold finger ring with a D-section. Slightly ridged hoop, and an oval bezel containing the original blue glass stone, darkened around the chamfered edges, carved with a pair of fish. The fish themselves appear a little indistinct when viewed from the top but impression in wax(see third image) reveals a fine attention to detail, the lips, eye, tail and top fins finely picked out(it is likely that with specialist knowledge, even the species of the fish could be identified) Condition: Very fine; a few light encrustations.
