Strand of 2,000 Year Old Roman Glass Beads
Nice strand of undamaged Roman glass beads approximately 2.000 years old. There are 35 beads total. No cracks, chips, missing decoration, etc. The one red folded bead has two holes but they are where the glass was thin and had air pockets. I don't think they detract from the bead too much. All the others are perfect. Of particular interest are the three folded beads, one square eye bead, and a small purple eye bead. Also, a bi-cone shaped folded bead close to where the purple eye bead is.

A beautiful 9" x 8.5" wide(handle to spout) Minerva or Roman Medallion EAPG pattern glass non-flint water pitcher. This pattern was thought to have been manufactured in the 1870's by the Adams Glass Company and several other renown glass factories including the Boston Sandwich factory. McKee Glass Blue TAPPAN Roman Arches Shaker
Up for your consideration is this Roman Arches style TAPPEN pepper shaker with the original lid produced by Mckee Glass Co. The shaker comes with the original plastic lid. Which is in perfect condition. This was part of a set that was a give away when you purchased a range in 1950's. The piece is milkglass with the fired on color. The color is lighter towards the bottom. There are some minor ridges in the paint that are from the original manufacturing process(see last photo) The shaker stands about 3 3/7 inches tall and about 2 1/4 inches across the bottom at the widest part. This listing is for the exact door knob you see in the pictures. I don't know anything about this door knob. I've had it for several years. I'm downsizing and this was picked to go. It's very. Very dirty. I'd clean it, but that might not be what you'd like me to do. As an artist this was how I was going to use it, then I realized what it was. I can't imagine this on a birdhouse! Well, I can, it just wouldn't be the right place for it. So. it's heavy 11 ounces. It's got a nice blue color under some of the patina. The design on the front is a clock with Roman numeral numbers and clock hands. Then it says BPOE from the 9 to the 3 on the clock. There is a screw where the set screw would go that holds the knob on the door knobs post. It will take some work to get it out. But, I'm positive it will come ... moreout with a good soaking. A magnet does not stick to this. It could be brass. Bronze or glass? I honestly have no idea how to figure that out. Measures about 2 1/2" across and 2 1/4" deep. VINTAGE MCKEE BLACK DEPRESSION GLASS ROMAN ARCH SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS ART DECO
This listing is for a vintage McKee Depression Glass salt and pepper set ~ the glass is black and there are script initials on the front of each shaker! They have a Roman Arch design ~ great art deco style! I expect these shakers were made between 1930 and 1950. Each shaker stands 4 1/4" tall ~ the glass is glossy and attractive! The base markings are shown in the photos ~ both are in nice. Vintage condition; the metal twist caps work well with only minor dents and dings! The salt shaker has a small rim chip under the cap.
