This is a antique 19th century illuminated manuscript from the Ottoman Empire. There are four different color pages in a thin paper. There are 4 purple pages. 4 tan pages, 4 blue pages and 5 green pages for a total of 17 pages. The caligraphy is immaculate and unflawed. There are page notations on each side of the sheet. Aside from this I know nothing about the manuscript since I don't read arabic. Please look at them under magnification and perhaps you will be able to figure it out. I was told this is not a part of the Koran.

ANTIQUE CAST BRONZE OTTOMAN PORTABLE PEN HOLDER ~ QALAMDAN/DIVIT
This is an old cast bronze portable pen holder with inkwell. It is approximately 10 ¼” in length and it weighs a little over 1 lb. We do not have the expertise to tell you exactly how old it is; however. Based on the examples we have seen we would guess that 150 years old or more is not out of line. It is a product of the Ottoman Empire and likely Turkish. There is a maker’s mark contained in a square lozenge on the spine of the pen holder below the lid(see photos) but we don’t know what it says. It is both mold decorated and engraved. This item is in good original condition given its age as a functional item. The divit has a nice old patina. The body has the usual dings of time as all of these old pen carriers have. The two lids are intact and work well. The scallop shell shaped lid on the inkwell is missing one of its’ hinge rings ... morebut that’s about all we can find wrong with this item. Vintage Antique TURKISH ISLAMIC OTTOMAN METALLIC EMBROIDERY CIRCULAR VELVET 23"
I have for auction a magnificent piece of circular red cotton velvet embroidered with fine metallic thread possibly an alter pad or ceremonial table center from the Turkish Ottoman Byzantine era. It measures approx. 22-23" and displays birds mid flight with an olive branch as well as considerable floral decoration and a central medallion with open work areas extending outwards. There is a heavy metallic braid which finishes off this beautiful item plus a fringe which measures approx. 1 1/2" in bullion thread. The color of the metallic embroidery is actually more gold in color than what is shown in the photos. Very good condition for age; a little bit of separation in one or two areas of the metal threadwork but no significant damage; no damage to the red velvet. Ottoman Empire Steelyard. C. 1800, a steel beam, length 17inches/43 cm with incised lines marking values on the beam. The beam ends with a crescent shaped design. A lead-filled bell-shaped sliding weight is attached to a ring clasp which slides up and down the beam. A large iron hook is atop the beam and two similar hooks all connected to iron chains with another two hooks all the same size complete the apparatus. DESCRIPTION: Superb antique silk embroidered bag face[or similar article] Measures about 20" square not including the tassels and this is just begging to made into a pillow. Comes from a local Dallas estate. Possibly European, but most likely Ottoman Turkish based on the form, materials, and aesthetic and check out the pics. Guaranteed old and obviously very old as shown and I would date this ca. 1850 or older. This is made of a combination of stumpwork executed in silver metallic thread and some type of embroidery technique where the background silk is gathered into tiny ridges which are then stitched together to form a pattern. ANTIQUE TURKISH YATAGAN OTTOMAN EMPIRE OFFICER SWORD 18TH CENTURY
Up for auction is a very old Antique 18th century Turkish Ottoman Yatagan sword with the characteristic ear shaped hilt mounted in silver gilt metal decorated with pendants and other shapes. This late 18th or early 20th century hand forged sword blade is of single edge with 2 narrow fullers and decorated in what looks to be tarnished silver inlay. That is just what I think. I am sure those that know these swords well will know what it is and what it says. The handle is decorated with some gold gilt lines and other figures. The other side of the blade has the seal of Solomon or also know as David’s Star. This is just 1 of 2 swords that I have listed. Both swords came from the same collection that has been in storage since 1947. So these are fresh to the market and are untouched since then. This is the second of the two I have to offer, so ... morethis auction is for one sword that you see in the rest of the photos. This one has coral settings and some type of red stone settings in the bolster psrt of the sword. The sword measures 28 3/4" long, blade alone is 23 1/4"long and 1 1/4" wide. The handles are just beautiful with fine color from age. Condition: Blade has some slight bends when held out straight, this is slight but worth the mention. Handles have some movement to them and shows some soldier repairs. The bolsters have movement to the and needs to be soldered to be tight. Blade has a nick to the cutting and shown in photos. Other then that the sword blade needs to be cleaned, surface rust is light but will need to be cleaned.
