LARGE SOLID STERLING SILVER WHISKEY HIP FLASK, 280 GRAMS, MEXICAN MAYAN CALENDAR
Up for auction is a large sterling silver whiskey hip flask I assume from Mexico because of the design of the Mayan calendar on one side. On the other side the design is of an eagle carrying a snake. This flask is not lined with glass so the weight of 280 grams is all sterling silver. The body of the flask measures 5.25" by 4.25" by.75" The cap adds.5" to the overall length. The flask has a couple small dings on the top right of the Mayan calendar and a slight dent on the back upper right. It is marked sterling on the bottom and has initials on the front LMA and a date 1951. What looks like a blue line in the photos is a reflection. Any questions please ask and thanks for looking!

It appears to be signed"Hansen Designs 1987" on the back. It measures about 2-1/2" x 2-3/4" quite large! I do not know what material or age the carved head is- it is cold to the touch and I would think it is a polished stone of some sort- even maybe yellow jade. But the color is pretty uniform. There is a little hole at the top and bottom of the head- possibly this pin was made from an older carving. This carving looks like an old Egyptian or Mayan. According to Bille Hougart's"The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade& Hallmarks" the Crown was a hallmark of Antonio Pineda. According to the"Little Book" The highly innovative& accomplished Antonio started at William Spratlings"Taller de Las Delicias. He opened his own successful shop"Antonio" in 1941. He used a CROWN in his designs to hallmark his pieces. Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Biker Ring Gold Aztec Mayan Calendar 3 DAY ONLY
This is a rare outstanding vintage Mexican Biker ring made of Sterling Silver as well as other metals. Most likely crafted in the 1940's- 1950's. The face of the ring features a G old Aztec or Mayan Calendar which is quite rare. The calendar may be actual gold but I did not want to scratch test it. Both sides of the ring feature a shield with Fleur De Lis. There is a red stone mounted on the front which is unusual and has great color and looks to be perhaps carnelian or some kind of bakelite. It is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. The ring is approximately a size 10 to 10.25 on the ring mandrel and is hallmarked Sterling 925 and made in Mexico with a maker's mark of some sort. Front of ring measures approx. 18mm by 17mm.
