The lid or top of this is made of solid bronze! At first glance I got a Hindu vibe from this because of the Multi-Armed God or Goddess carved in deep relief on the top! He/she has 4 arms, all holding something different! The main arm that is protruding from the front is holding a curved sword of some kind, while the lowered arm is holding what could be a shield! The back left arm is holding something cylindrical and ribbed, while the back right arm is holding something long-but curvy-maybe a snake or lightning bolt? This Deity is highly detailed and has a third eye, enlarged ear lobes, an awesome lotus head piece that extends above the main piece with long flowing hair, some type of flowers at the shoulders or bottom of the ears, and decorative breast and shoulder plates, armbands, bracelets, and anklets! Around the waist is some kind of"skirt" with an arrow hanging down. There are also necklaces around the neck with one that is predominant and hangs low-past the waist that reminds me of a skull Japmala similar to Kali's! This piece is not solid, but is pierced on either side of the neck, around the waist and Japmala, and also under both feet to accentuate this Fabulous Highly Detailed Deity!
