85 Ancient Egyptian Grave PreDynastic Bone and Steatite Beads Disk Stone Bead
Ancient Egyptian bone and Steatite round flat disk grave beads. There are 85 of them in good condition on a string. Not sure how many bone(at least 15)or how many steatite. They range from about just under 2 centimeters to around 1 centimeter. The average width is around.25 centimeters. The length of the complete string and beads is about 30 centimeters. The colour are chalky white to light brown. These were purchased during WW2 across the road from the British Museum in an Egyptian Antiquity shop. In my opinion they are not fakes but genuine ancient beads. Added by another-with thanks) I have no problem in believing them to be Egyptian and very probably pre-dynastic(5000- 6000 years old) And steatite. Consequently.
