White Priest's Stole Catholic Mass Vestment
This Priest's Stole is off white. More of an ivory color. It is 50" long per side. For a total length of 100" The Stole is narrow at the neck. Widening to a 3 1/2" width at the bottom. It has a gold embroidered cross at the top. And an embroidered cross at the bottom on each side. I had to look hard. But I did find a couple of very small spots on this Stole. All my items come from a smoke free. Pet free home.

LARGE Antique Church VESTMENT DECOR The Mother In Brocade, Gold, Velvet & Silk
Measures aprox 104" long by 22" wide A lovely church tapestry. Might be an altar piece or a vestment. Features- gold metallic threading make up the tastes and ornate brocade work; stunning rich blue velvet. Silk background textile with jacked gold pattern. Backside is a blue silk with two long pockets. This backside fabric has some thinning which can be seen through. A original tag reads"Philippe Kunstenaar& Co. New York- Paris- Lyon made in France. Ornate metal hooks in gold are sewn on in two places. May be a way to tie on the piece and wear it.one of them needs to be sewn back on as it is loose. Condition is quite good- again backside liner has thinning to liner fabric. A few tassels have the blue thread that binds them loose or missing.

Rare Magnifident 18thC Spanish Chasuble + Stole-Superb Gold Brocaded Silk~. I'm delighted to offer this wonderful rare antique 18th century chasuble and stole from Spain. The items are made of superb. Very costly silk which is lavishly brocaded with gold wire. Some of the motifs are raised. In addition to the stunning fabric. The chasuble and stole are decorated with magnificent gleaming metallic gold galons. As you would expect from vestments of this age. There is some wear to the silk of the chasuble- but this is mainly on the front and at the shoulders. There have been a few small repairs. There is also some rubbing/areas of wear on the sides of the stole. I have tried to photograph all these worn places. The chasuble and stole are lined with a pale blue glazed cotton. Priest's purple overlay stole with a large purple. Mauve and turquoise cross applique on one end panel. The cross is in a geometric diamond shape and is over 18 inches long and 4.5 inches wide. There is no maker's tag. The stole is lined in a beautiful ivory satin material. The stole is polyester material and the neck is mitred for proper fit. There is a small rose colored cross at the neck. The stole is 53 inches long from center neck to each end panel and 5 inches wide. Tabernacle Veil Portion Satin Embroidered ChiRho Incense Bowl Motif Unusual FINE
I think this is a portion from a large tabernacle veil front. It is larger sized. Measuring 19 3/4" wide at the bottom by 27 1/2" long, measured from the center to the bottom edge, therefore it must have originally been used on a main altar tabernacle in a larger church or basilica. The iconography features a Chi Rho(Name of Christ) monagram design in a sunburst radiance, and two golden incense bowls below with figurative billows of smoke in dove grey ascending upwards. This looks to be machine embroidered over off-white satin, and probably dates from the 1940s/50s. It would look beautiful redesigned perhaps as a processional banner or framed as a liturgical art piece. Condition is graded as generally Very Fine. but I note one ink stain on the border edge, left hand side about halfway up. You can see this in photo#1& 2; 2 shows ... morethe machine stitched reverse) But this stain in no way affects the actual image design and would be covered by hemming or when inset in a larger piece of fabric. The fabric was cut from its backing rather crudely in places on the edges but no damage to the actual stiches anywhere, and there is a panel sleeve at the bottom, 2" wide where a strut or dowel may be inserted.
