Stunning vestment- purchased in Europe from a Normandy church near Mont St Michele that was selling early church vestments. In fine shape for a priest to use or on a wall/ table. Front heavy woven brocade is a strong silky fabric and has fleur de lis within four pointed cross-shaped flowers. Fabric intact. Front faded to lighter blues, back stronger turquoise. Green is heavy woven taffeta& in lovely shape throughout with a few spots of dirt which should come out easily(I did not attempt to remove) I estimate the vestment to be made between 1900-1920. Gold- thread trim is from 19th c. and truly beautiful. There are two types. We are not certain but believe he was a Bishop. This is a"Chasuble" which is the outermost liturgical vestment worn by clergy for the celebration of the Eucharist in Western-tradition Christian Churches that use full vestments. The chasuble measures about 42.5 inches long from the top of the collar to bottom hem. It has the old style"bell-shape" to it. The material is a creamy colored polyester-blend? This chasuble is embellished with ornate bands of green and rose colored ... morematerial with a large Christian symbol on the backside. This robe is vintage and used. It would benefit from a dry cleaning. We have not done so. There is some wear consistent with age and being worn. The button snap closure needs to be replaced. There are quite a few stains on the front side. Some on the back as well. Appears to be just on the top layer of material not thru to the red underside material. Also, a small section of the seam has let go around the neckline. This chasuble has no makers tag and does appear to have a good age to it. The vestment is a woven material with black and green colored offrey of three verticle knitted stripes down the front and the back. It has a rolled monastic collar with a black cross at the neck. The matching green stole also has a black cross at the neck. The stole is lined with a gold satin. Both the chasuble and stole have makers tags with Robert Gaspard Co of Milwaukee. Wisconsin. Green Chasuble by Hansen with overlay stole
This is a very nice green Chasuble made by the famous Chicago vestment and clergy apparel maker The House of Hansen. It has a nice overlay stole that matches the trim on the edges of the monastic style chasuble which measures 58 inches long and 64 inches wide with a rolled collar. It is a polyester fabric that hangs well and looks good the front is four inches shorter than that back. It shows no signs of wear.

This is a beautiful Chasuble with matching overlay stole created by the famous European vestment maker Stadelmaier in green. The stripes and collar and stole are in a much darker green shade than the rest which makes a stunning combination. It is a wool blend fabric that drapes beautifully and is lightweight. This measures 60 inches long in back and 56 inches long in front from the collar. And is 64 inches wide. This also includes two preformed amices that came with it, one in bright white, the other in more of a cream color. Green Chasuble and Dalmatic set
This is a very nice set of unadorned green Chasuble and Dalmatic made of a beautifully draping polyester fabric that is washable. It has zig-zag stitching around the neck opening and hems. Great for overlay stoles(sold separately) and rather large. The Chasuble measures 54 inches long and 64 inches wide while the Dalmatic is 56 inches long and 64 inches wide. The Dalmatic has sweat stains on it that should wash out. This set is homemade.

Antique Green Chasuble and Stole for Catholic Priest, Clergy Vestment for Mass
Beautiful Antique Green Chasuble and Stole for Mass This is an antique green chasuble and stole set for the celebration of the Mass. It is in good condition with very little wear. The material is of a kelly green that is much more Roman than the darker forest green color that is often produced today. The back is embroidered with a cross that is composed of flowers with the iconic IHS in the center. The front is a simple pillar composed in the same theme as the back. There are two strings that are used to secure the vestment around the waist of the priest. The matching stole is in very good condition and its adorned with metallic fringe on the bottom. It has a sewn cloth around the neck to absorb any sweat that may damage the material. The only sign of age and wear is found on the front between the embroidered part of the vestment. The cloth ... moreis slightly distressed and is beginning to fray. This can be seen in the photos 6& 7 provided above. Aside from this. The lining is in excellent condition for its age. This chasuble by Cambridge Tailored Apparel features a chi rho. Grapes and wheat design embroidered in gold and green. The chasuble measures 45 inches from the back of the neck to the bottom hem. The matching. Undesigned(plain green) stole measures approximately 88 inches in length. Both pieces are in very good condition. I see no signs of holes. Rips, stains, etc. on either item.
