This is a Vintage 6 piece vestment set which was once used in a Catholic Church. It consists of a chasuble.Dalmatic,cope,humeral veil,stole, and chalice veil. It was made by the Maryknoll nuns in Kyoto Japan. The chasuble is 43 inches long from the neckdown, the dalmatic is 45 inches from the neck down and the cope is 57 inches long.The pieces are made from cream silk with beautiful gold brocade trim. The lining of the cope and chasuble needs to be repaired and there is wear around the neck. The chasuble has fraying around the neckline and shows wear. The gold brocade trim needs to be restiched in places. The set needs to be cleaned. The set is being sold as is. The fabric and trim are in good condition considering its age. White Priest Chasuble/ Stole/Chalice Veil/Burse Vestment (015)
This Vintage White Chasuble and Stole have some wear showing but are still in usable shape. The Battenburg Rose design in the white material looks very nice with a single band of burgundy velvet which is outlined with gold trim down the front(a very small spot near the band looks as though the burgundy bled some color) There is a slight reddish stain near the bottom left of the chasuble as well. Neither of these are very noticeable. There is a burgundy velvet Y band outlined with gold trim on the back of the chasuble. The applique on the back Y band has a 10 inch heighth and 8 inch width. And gold threads embroidered the I H S on burgundy velvet in the center of the applique, the gold crown on the applique is studded with mullti colored beads and hand embroidered background. The chasuble is 45 inches long in the back and 41 inches in the ... morefront and fully lined in gold satin material(there is some minor discoloration on the lining, not sure what it's from) A 12 inch neck opening is outlined with a double burgundy velvet and gold trim. The chasuble is 57 inches wide. The matching fully lined stole is 98 inches long plus a three inch white fringe at each end. There are four velvet bands on each side of the stole outlined with gold trim, the lower bands are 3 and 3/4 inch wide the one at the top of each side is 3 and 1/2 inches. The Chalice Veil is 23 and 1/2 inches by 24 inches, it has a few water/wine? stains which are not particularly noticeable. The veil is fully lined in the same gold material as the stole and chasuble and outlined with gold and white cording with detailed knots at the corners. The veil has a 4 inch padded gold cross applique with a red glass/plastic bead in the center. The Burse is a 9 inch square with the same 4 inch gold padded cross applique and the red bead, and the gold and white cording around the edges. These items were hand crafted with great care. The age of these items is unknown but the parish was over 100 years old when it closed in 2011, most probably from the late1960's or

Vintage Clergy Vestment beautiful stole and chalice veil gold silver enbossed
This is a very nice looking stole and veil set and other than the stains on the stole they are very clean and show no wear. The stains are visible make no mistake. However given the color of the stole, in light they are far less visible. I have them pictured and mainly in my last two photos. The veil is very clean and has no stains. It measures 22" by 22" The stole measures from top to bottom 39" and at the very bottom is 6" wide and is 2 1/2" wide at the top. Thank you for looking. White Chalice Veil. Burse and Matching Stole + Vestment Set This is a nice little set of a matching Chalice Veil. Burse and Stole. They are all made of the same white silk-like material and are all lined. The same red cross adorns all three items. The veil measures 19 x 19 inches. The burse measures 9 x 9 inches. The stole measures 3 feet, 5 1/2 inches long and each side is 4 inches wide. A great set. It is used and there are minor signs of that, but nothing major. Offered for auction is an antique green Roman chasuble set from a vestment collection with chasuble. Stole, maniple,and burse. It needs to be sold quickly hence the low price for the Buy-It-Now. Overall condition is good antique(see below, and pics) The embroidery is blue and that gives the overall color but the base fabric when you look at it is green. The ophreys are beautifully embroidered. Label indicates that it was made in France. Apologies for the poor quality of the photos. And please feel free to ask for more or any other details. Please note the following before bidding or buying this item: 1) The INNER lining of the back of the chasuble is faded– some minor fading can also be seen along the outer bottom of the back of the vestment as well(it appears a little silvery in the second photo- this is NOT the band that appears across ... morethe vestment in the first photo. Which is due to the light) Please look well at the photos. 2) There is very minor damage around the cross on the burse– it is noticeable if one looks closely. I have not tried to clean it for fear of damaging the vestment. But my guess it is that it could be. 3) The"tapes"ribbons to fasten the chasuble around the waist. And the maniple around the arm are old and probably need replacing.
