Estate Catholic Priest Stole- Lavender and White- Fine Embroidered Gold Crosses
I purchased this at the estate sale of an elderly priest. He had been in Rome for a few years and I purchased a few items he had from there including a couple of beautiful rosaries. This stole is a light ivory white on one side and a beautiful lavender purple on the other. It looks more blue in my photos and I don't know why: It is purple. Not blue. The crosses are stitched on with great care- on both sides(the purple and the ivory side) with golden thread which matches the gold trim. The entire stole is about 72 inches in length. White Priest's Stole Catholic Mass Vestment
This Priest's Stole is off white. More of an ivory color. It is 50" long per side. For a total length of 100" The Stole is narrow at the neck. Widening to a 3 1/2" width at the bottom. It has a gold embroidered cross at the top. And an embroidered cross at the bottom on each side. I had to look hard. But I did find a couple of very small spots on this Stole.
