This is a vintage. Authentic Episcopal Priest long black cassock. Made by the R.J. Toomey Co.Made in USA. 65% Dacron Polyester/35% Cotton-Summer Time Cassock No size found. But from the way it fits me it would be a large. 60" long down the back Sleeve length from the shoulder is 25"with a 9" angled cuff. 21" across the waist 23" armpit to armpit Has two 9 1/2" open arm slits in the side seams Nice large pleat from the waist down in the back. Closes with a partial wrap around. Closes at the neck with velcro. Closes in the front with 2 velcro closures. There are 2 small holes in the chest area(cigarette burns? but both are hidden when the front flap is closed. Fabric in the neck area is worn some. Armpits are some faded. No belt-don't know if there is supposed to be one or not. A pin here and there down the ... morefront would help to keep it closed. Came from an estate sale where the guy had a church in one of his out buildings-weird. I believe it was Episcopal. Cassock was stored in a zippered garment bag-clean no smells. Wear as intended. this is a gorgeous colored catholic vestment. Deep salmon color with red ribbon and gold embroidery. There are two small flaws +please see photos+ the first is 2 small holes on top piece of fabric.But hardly noticeable because lining piece is intact. The second is some smudge marks on lower back near hem(I think these can be washed out but I didn't want to mess with it) garment measures 43" inches from back if neck to lower hem and is made from a rayon/ poly material with a sheen. This garment was previously worn and used by a world traveled priest who originated from Vietnam. Vintage ministers robe. Vestment. Minor fraying around the neck where the stitching has come loose. Also, a few stitches have come loose at the bottom of the zipper seem. A little needle and thread would put it back into tiptop shape, but already functional and great-looking as it is. All the velvet/velour. Stitched on crosses, and fabric is in great shape. Lying flat it measures 28 inches across the chest(56) 19 inches across the ribbed shoulders, and 25 inches down the sleeves. Overall length top to bottom is about 57 inches. This is for a big guy.
