The cedar chest is still quite aromatic, it has a special sealite lid to prevent the escape of the protective cedar fumes. The chest measures 47-1/4" long, it is 23" tall and 18-1/4" deep. It has a cedar tray on the inside which is 10" deep. The cedar chest is in excellent condition, the wood is rich and it gleams. On close inspection it shows a few vintage scuffs, mainly where the back edge would rub against the wall when opened, but nothing outstanding and it shows no abuse. The inside looks like new.
