Antique Luggage, Vintage Lightweight Suitcase Trunk w Leather handle and keys
This is a beautiful very old antique suitcase/trunk. It comes with the original keys and they work great. It appears to be made of cardboard and it looks like it's lined with fabric. It has leather corners and brass?hardware. I got it at an estate sale with a lot of very old items. I'm guessing late 1800- early 1900. It has normal wear. But is in great shape. ANTIQUE OLD WOOD HOPE CHEST TRUNK WITH VICTORIAN STENCIL DESIGN AND ROPE Handle
you are bidding on what is in the pictures used hope chest with rope handles this is vintage and has scrapes and cracks from use. Still works it is not perfect but it is not that bad over all. victorian stencil woman and couple Measurements are 30" L x 15"W x 12" H you could sand it down and make a TREASURE chest out of it or use it as is.

Antique Trunk Parts--Metal Strapping, Corners, Handle Strap Covers, etc.
These old. Original trunk parts include 4 metal casters, 6 metal corners, metal strapping that circled an old trunk horizontally with original hinges and lock top attached(this strapping measures about 16" x 26.25" more than 50 original"square cut" nails(most were bent when removed from the original trunk) used to attach the metal strapping, etc. 4 matching embossed metal covers(not sure what these were used for) 4 matching metal covers for handle straps with original attaching nails in place, metal"retainer" slide that would hold the trunk lid open at a certain angle(don't the other half of this piece) and two matching metal pairs of leather strap covers and metal strap loops for strapping a trunk lid closed. All are offered for sale in"as is" condition as commonly used in an auction setting.

I AM OFFERING FOUR(4) PAIR OF TRUNK HANDLE END CAPS TO HOLD THE LEATHER STRAP HANDLE ONTO THE TRUNK. THE OPENING FOR THE LEATHER STRAP HANDLE IS ABOUT 1 3/16 INCHES WIDE.
