It features 4"scroll work" pieces around the door opening. The domed top is also metal- with no dents or dings. Under the crown there is a small spot of rust. The finial is not metal. Wow. When they designed and manufactured this one they did it for KEEPS. Mid Century Modern Coffee Table with Tapered Legs. Would love to know the Designer of this. Jens Risom? Probber? who? anyone know? This is a great size Coffee Table. Not Huge! Doesn't take up the whole room. Measurements are: Diameter 28 1/4" Round frame is made forever! 2" wide and 2 1/2" thick, Rock hard maple as far as I can tell. Round formica cap top 25 3/8" diameter and 3/8" above frame. Tapered legs measure 2 1/2" at top slight edge bevel and 1" bottom tip, see picture) still has metal sleeves for castors or leg tips. Table height as well as leg height is 15 1/2" As you can see the varnish finish has some wear around the edges. Some Russ character scratched his name into the top finish on the maple frame. No even real ... morenoticable, have to look for it. NO REPAIRS TO THIS TABLE. As far as shipping. Vintage Wood Round Foot Stool 12" tall Hand Made Cover On Top Handle Made Japan
Here is a vintage foot stool made out of wood and has a small handle for carring it around. This little compact stool is built very sturdy and has a colorful little piece of carpet that was hand stitched and put together. It is all hand made in Japan and has a stamp on the bottom that reads#2222 and a picture(stamp) of a Pilgrim type fellow inside of a circle. This is a sign of good quality. This cute little work horse was made in Japan but was distrubited by a company out of El Segundo. Calif. The stool stands 12" high and the top of the stool measures either 10 1/2" across or 33" in diameter. There aren't any rips or tears in the carpet or any bad stains, just kind of dirty and could deffinetaly stand a good cleaning. This is in great shape for a vintage item such as this. Antique Brass Tall Adjustable display stand - Round Table top
This is a vintage Brass adjustable stand; possibly used for statue. Vessel or other decorative pieces. The height is adjustable from 28" to 46" by loosing/tightening of the key(shown in photos) The top is made out of round wood diameter 14 ½”the wood surface on the top is attached to the upper part of the stand using 4 screws. The upper part(smaller stem and wood surface) can completely be removed from base(larger stem) The Brass base is comprised of three 8 1/2" long'legs' with Brass swivel rolling wheels attached to the end of each. vintage COMOY'S OF LONDON TOBACCO POT HUMIDOR BRASS TOP CERAMIC round container
This is for a vintage round pot(humidor? that is marked on the bottom"Comoy's of London. Made in England" It is approx 4 1/2" tall plus another 1/2" for the brass knob and x 6 1/4" across. The brass knob allows a way to seal the lid, and when loosened, the brass 3 point piece can be rotated to the notches in the top lid of the container so that it can be removed. I do not know the age, but it appears 1950's or 1960's. It has no chips or cracks, and the brass has some dullness from age. I will leave any further clening to the buyer, and am selling it as-is. Here is a great antique round base soda glass bottle t hat I obtained from the estate sale of a b ottle collector. I am not an exper t in vintage glass so I have tried to describe this as best I c an. Feel free to email any questions or clarification. Possible vintage of creation about 1860-1870. ANTIQUE METAL BARREL STAVE DOME TOP TRUNK WITH WOOD SLATS(163-66) With Measurements: 32"w x 15.5"d x 24"h Dome Top Trunks 1870-1920 Built in many sizes and styles. They generally have a curved top that slopes in both directions and built using a variety of construction methods including molded ply and barrel construction among others. Within this style of trunks are a few other names that have come about based on the positioning of the wood slates that cover the dome construction. The exact origin of these names is unknown but seem reasonable. Listed below as I see them. Barrel Stave Trunks(1860-1885) they generally ... moredate a bit earlier than most of the dome tops made and have horizontal running slats instead of vertical(end to end vs. over the top) Giving it a slightly different look. The word"stave" in this case refers to the wood slats. These trunks were mostly made from the late 1860's until about the mid 1880s when the other dome construction methods listed below became more widely used. Often early examples of this style have a graceful, well proportioned look and the later examples into the 1870's are quite simply well made. This trunk is in good condition. Obviously it will show wear marks from age as it is over 100+ years old. No rotted metal or holes present. Aren't you just drawn to these old trunks? To me. They represent a much simpler time in this country. It's that emotional connection that makes them so appealing to collectors, and will only increase with the value of the piece in time. Vintage Avon Glass Round Covered butter dish top and 1960's anchor Hocking bottom This is a beautiful top It measures 5" tall x 3 7/8" wide I am throwing in a butter dish for free that does not match the top.
