Up for auction is a beautiful. Antique Zither, manufactured by Ukelin International Musical Corporation in Hoboken, NJ. There are two labels inside the Zither, with the Ukelin name, along with the original price of $35.00. On the back of the instrument, there are a couple of numbers: 1766 and 88. I'm not sure what the numbers indicate, but a collector may. The condition of the instrument is very good; the strings, tuners and original parts are all intact. The gold-finish on the instrument is wearing a bit, and there are quite a few scuffs on the back(as shown in the picture) These are all cosmetic issues that do not affect the playback of the instrument. Because this is a stringed musical instrument. Buyers are required to pay charges for shipping, handling and insurance.

Beautiful Vintage/Antique Italian 800 Silver Compact Beautifully Engraved- Pre1944 Rare Clam Shell Shape If you collect Italian vintage 800 silver compacts then you will love this one. It is in the rare calm-shell shape and beautifully engraved. It comes with its original shell-shaped removable pale peach colored powder screen(there's even a touch of face powder on it left by the original owner) It has a tight closure.The intricate engraving is in excellent condition. Besides being engraved on the front and the back of the compact. It is engraved around all the edges. Note that there is some oxidation(cloudy spots) on the mirror as there are on most of these antique 800 compacts, but you can still see your image in the mirror clearly. It is hallmarked inside- right on the very top center of the compact above the mirror- 800 Italy" ... morewith a maker's mark that you will need a loupe to see. There is the number"15" stamped inside the compact on the bottom half(under the removable powder screen) perhaps this is a style number. These types of compacts are dated pre 1944. It measures about 3 inches wide by 2& 5/8 inches long and is a bit more than 1/4 inch thick. All in all, it is a beautiful, elegant, vintage piece. If you are not familiar with these collectibles. If you google'800 silver compacts from Italy' you will find more information on these gems. You will also see that they often sell for $300.00 and up, so the price listed here is a good one. The compacts with intricate engraving in swirl designs like this one are the earliest versions. The engraving is in excellent condition- no dents or scratches that I can see, but because the mirror has a bit of oxidation I would rate this piece as being in very good vintage condition. The powder screen is fraying just a tiny bit on an edge, but it is in very good condition too. This is for an 19th/ 20thc baby day gown. Very simple but beautifully made. It is made with a very fine batiste 100% cotton fabric that is pure white and very soft. It is has a very dainty delicate lace detailing the collar of the bodice extending to the back. There is a fine cord that is woven through the lace and closes at the back of the collar. And another that closes at the waist. The skirt is finely gather to the bodice giving it a lovely floating quality draping down to the hem. There is a deep hem. So could be easily let out for length if needed. The gown is very soft and has no stains or issues. Other than 2 small openings in the fabric near the bodice, please see pic 5. This is an Antique E.Ingraham Co. Bristol Ct. USA Going by the way the name is stated it should date 1861-1881.But inside the face it has 06 03. That would be June 03. So it's between the two I can't be sure. This is a beautiful mantle clock! It works great! It gongs on every hour one time for each hour 1,2,3 etc. It also has a bell sound on every half hour. The glass, face, columns all look original. There are 2 columns-Also each side has a lions face on it. The lions rings are missing and one side of the lion is chipped. You can find these on eBay for 15-25$ The pendulum was replaced. Includes the key also. It's black with engraving and marbleized parts. Not flawless but in good condition considering it's over 100 years old! Antique Victorian Sector Rule Beautifully Marked with Unusual Edge Scale
This is a really nice example of a Victorian engineer's tool. A sector rule, beautifully and very clearly marked with numerous scales for complex calculations. In addition to the usual scales this one has an edge marking with a scale of 0- 100 along the full 12 inch length of the outside edge. This scale would appear to be decimal divisions of 1 foot which I assume would be used for scaling site drawings up or down by a factor of 10 or 100. The rule is in very good condition with just one tiny age crack around one of the rivets shown in the 5th picture on the lower left. There is no maker's mark but this is a top quality instrument made from the natural material of choice in those days. 23" RARE Documented Antique 1907 Jumeau by Gebruder Heubach Beautifully dressed Description This is a very rare and hard to find 23" doll which is documented in the book called Heubach Character Dolls and Figurines by Lydia Richter page 100. Lydia Richter says this doll was made by Gebruder Heubach for SFBJ which was the Jumeau Company. SFBJ continued using the 1907 Jumeau mold. The 1907 mold was given to Gebruder Heubach to make the heads then once the heads were made then they were sent back to SFBJ to put on the Jumeau bodies. When found these dolls have the typical Heubach eye brows and the green numbers on back of head. You can spot one of these dolls once you've owned one or just by looking inside the head then you will see that the bisque is pink and not white. Not all Gebruder Heubach dolls are pink inside occasionally ... moreyou will find one with white bisque inside. No damage and no repair. Incised on back of head 1907 10 with that light green stamp which reads maybe 85. Light blond French replaced mohair wig. Beautifully Shabby Antique Frame w Old Photo~1865~Rose Border Gold Gilt Wood
Beautiful Shabby Old Framed Photo PLEASE. Supersize the pictures by clicking on one of them for best visual details. They serve as a LARGE part of my description. Measures aprox. 28 inches~T x 24 1/4 inches~L. This shabby old picture. I almost had to keep for myself! The frame is old and is far from being in mint condition. The photo is old, marked on the back with different#s, one set of#s being"1865"~Which I believe is the year the photo was taken or made. It almost looks like the photo could have been done with pencil or charcoal, black and white and the photo itself is on really heavy card stock. I showed one picture of the back of the photo and it does have some damage in the corner's but these signs of wear is not visible to the eye when in the frame. One can tell the frame is made of wood, at least the outer and biggest ... morepart of the frame is wood. The wood frame has the markings, Sold by Chicago Portrait, 803, Also has other writting pertaining to the Chicago Co but can't quite make it all out, it was stamped in red ink while the#803 is in black ink. The frame is so beautiful. I love the floral border around the edge of the frame. Up close one can see all the scars this framed picture has suffered over the years. There are cracks in the wood, all around the frame. The are places the wood has either chipped or has just been worn down. I can tell the frame has been repainted in places,and possible repairs. Please supersize pictures as I don't want anyone to be disappointed if they did not notice the flaws and the pictures serve as a large part of my description. The gold part, outer matte, that you see directly around the children is not made of the same material as the wood frame. Also this matte has cracks in each corner. I think this middle gold part may be plaster?~Iam not sure. Overall, a bit shabby, dirty and has it shares of flaws~But still remains a eyecatcher in spite! Adorable Children! Antique Buddha Bookends Italian Made Beautifully Crafted
This auction is for a set of antique Buddha bookends. There are"made in Italy" stickers on the bottom of both. They might have had felt on the sides. But that is gone now. Each has a yellowish finish I am not certain what they are made out of but each is solid. Weighs 1.5 pounds and is 4.75 inches tall. Possibly molded ceramic or some type of resin. Antique Victorian Bead and Needlepoint Beautifully Framed 17 1/2"H x 16"W x 2 7/
For your consideration is a framed piece of antique Victorian glass bead and needle point work. The beading is done in beautiful colors combined with clear beads and in perfect condition. The needle work is beautifully crafted as well. The only condition issue on the needlework is in the top right in the red area. See photo#8 for a close up. I have had this piece of needlework for over 20 years and I received it with the condition issues at that time. The piece was framed about 12 years ago. The mat is suede finish and the frame is nicely detailed to compliment the textile. There is a small chip on the frame in the top left corner, see photo 5 for detail. Piece measures 17 1/4"H x 16"W x 2 7/8"D. This item comes from a smoke and pet free environment. ANTIQUE LARGE BRASS DOOR KNOB BACK PLATE NO DAMAGE, WILL POLISH UP BEAUTIFULLY!
WELCOME! Up for auction is a large antique brass door knob back plate. It measures 2 1/2" x 9" and that is stamped on the back along with 6-6402 and a symbol I can't make out but looks kind of like a clover with something else inside it. A magnet does not stick to it. Other than being tarnished and discolored a little. A tad bit of paint on edges, and having the remnant of a round sticker adhesive on it-there is absolutely no damage to this plate, which in my experience is a rare find for this old of hardware. There are no dings, deep scratches, gouges, bends or anything and it is heavy! This would be just beautiful on an antique door! Mounting hole measurements(all to centers of holes) The top and bottom holes are set 1 3/4" apart across and 8 1/4" down. The door knob hole is 2 3/4" down from the top and the ... morekeyhole 2 1/2" below that. The doorknob piece is about 3/4" tall from the front. This is the direction I see the piece going-but the markings on the back are the opposite. Making the doorknob hole down low. All my house key holes are below the knob so not sure why that is. I'm sorry I can't clean up all this hardware before offering it for sale. But my hands are just too dry and cracked from the long winter of heat here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
