Stand is in very nice shape but does show normal age appropriate wear- some scuffs/scratches in the finish, one area(shown in pic) on one leg where the finish has been scratched, and it does appear that a repair has been made on one of the top pieces(shown in last picture) Originally thought it was a scratch until further inspection- honestly don't think it is noticable. The rest appears to be all original finish, and worn areas can be seen in the finish especially on the top. This stand has 4'sections' in it. Each of the four legs are surrounded with brass coverings. Canes shown for display only and are not included. I believe there would have originally been a drip tray with this but is missing. Nozzles on European regulators are metric sized and slightly larger in diameter than nozzles on US regulators. Therefore to use one on a US cylinder valve your only choice was to have a machinist turn the nozzle down slightly to fit. TILL NOW. From the VDH West Coast Special Projects unit and the brilliant mind of Dave Ali comes the European Banjo! On the nozzle side it is slightly larger in diameter to accommodate the metric regulators and the other side of the banjo it the standard US size to work on domestic valves! No need to turn down your nozzle to use it on valves here in the US. Simply slip the banjo between the nozzle and cylinder valve and you are ready to go. Works with long yoke regulators only. Vintage Nemrod Snark II Silver Single Hose Regulator, 1950s-60s, Spain.
Up for auction is a Vintage Nemrod Snark II Silver Single Hose Regulator. Serial# 20317. It was made in Spain in the 1950s or 60s by Nemrod, a famous manufacturer who ceased to exist towards the end of the 20th Century. It is is in very nice shape as you can see from the pics and has not been cleaned. Tested or taken apart. The hose is still flexible and I didn't notice any signs of cracks or rot. There is a little oxidation in places and the expected scratches and scrapes. As the pictures show. I wouldn't recommend using this item for actual underwater use without at least a safety check. If not a full overhaul. Sold as is without warranty.

vintage Wright and McGill "Granger Victory" Split-Bamboo Fly Rod, 4 pieces, tube
Exact item shown. This is a bamboo fly rod that assembles in 3 pieces. There are two of the thin end pieces. I weighed the three pieces that make a complete rod(handle piece. Middle piece, end piece) on my postal scale, it weighs 5.2 ounces. Each piece is 35 inches long. Near the handle there are two rubber stamps on the rod, one says"Granger Victory" the other says"Wright& McGill" The metal reel holder part of the handle says"Made by Wright& McGill Rod Co Denver Colo USA" it also has two patent dates- Pat Apr 12 1938" and"Pat No 2114107. The aluminum tube says"CHAMIPON" MFD by CAL-AIR Products Los Angles" Inside the screw on cover there is stamped" CAL-AIR Products Co Los Angles" This rod is from the estate of a relative who died a long time ago. It has sat unused for ... moredecades. I don't know anything about fly fishing. I have tried to describe the rod carefully, I see no damage, no wear, no stains, etc. There is some oxidation on the silver metal, not rust, and there is some darkening of the cork handle from holding it, othewise to me it looks absolutely like new. I don't have a specific marking on the rod to say that, but it appears that the model numbers are l
