Measures about 28" tall and 13 3/8" square. ... moreI am uncertain as to the origin or age of this stand but believe it might be earlier 1900's. Stand is in very nice shape but does show normal age appropriate wear- some scuffs/scratches in the finish, one area(shown in pic) on one leg where the finish has been scratched, and it does appear that a repair has been made on one of the top pieces(shown in last picture) Originally thought it was a scratch until further inspection- honestly don't think it is noticable. The rest appears to be all original finish, and worn areas can be seen in the finish especially on the top. This stand has 4'sections' in it. Each of the four legs are surrounded with brass coverings. Canes shown for display only and are not included. I believe there would have originally been a drip tray with this but is missing. However the top has warped somewhat over time, as you can see in the pictures. Although it has a nice patina, the finish may not be original and there is some evidence of repairs to the base. The oak table is missing a section of veneer underneath it is 2"x 1.25" near the edge. This table is two sections of wood glued together and the top section is cracked and needs glued. Wood area that holds the sheet music. The area in the center is missing the 3 rods that go up and down. Not sure if they were original wood or metal. Shown is an ANTIQUE TRIPTYCH or TRI-FOLD MIRROR. Frame of each of the three mirrors measures 11 1/8" X 11 1/8" Frame is of oak. Mirrors are beveled and in quite decent shape. See first picture- center and right mirror are both very good. The left mirror has slight deterioration but is more than passable for a triptych of this vintage. The backsides are a navy blue embossed paper that was probably shellaced or? to make embossing stand out. Again. Quite a bit of wear but more than passable. Important, the oak frames are excellent. All peg legs intact to stand atop dresser OR nice hanger chain affair for wall mounting. Either way, it is an eyecatcher! Locking clasp fine as well. Antique Mission oak plant stand. It has beautiful clean lines and the dark finish quarter sawn oak that this style is famous for. A perfect height for display. But narrow enough to fit in any corner. The stand probably dates from the early 1900's. This piece is in good condition. However the top has warped somewhat over time, as you can see in the pictures. Although it has a nice patina, the finish may not be original and there is some evidence of repairs to the base. There is also a crack in one of the vertical pieces. See picture. This is a very fine solid oak hat stand that is handmade with no nails or fasteners. It measures 13" wide and is 7-3/4" deep. The holder portion is carefully crafted out of oak and is made from two solid pieces of wood that are joined at an angle in the center to create a simple yet elegant symmetrical appearance. There is an indented brim receiver that is attached to the main portion by two turned dowels that are flattened on the bottom that also has an extra protrusion to keep the hat from slipping off the stand. The fork is carefully and neatly mortised into its base and there are no tacks or nails. The inner diameter of the stand between the forks is 11" The stand retains its original finish and has a beautiful dark patina. Finish is nearly perfect. There are no chips or dings in the wood. I get most of my items at estate auctions and sell them in an"as found" condition. I do no repairs. Alterations and very little cleaning. This is done in the belief that most buyers prefer to receive them as original as possible. Because the items I sell can come from anywhere. I can't guarantee they all come from smoke free environments. DESCRIPTION: Although the swivel mirror has obviously been a part of the wash stand for a very long time. I don't think it was originally a part of the piece. I'm not sure about that but most wash stands I've seen of this type simply have a towel bar where the mirror is located. The existing towel bar is original but the mirror was simply added to make the stand more functional as a dresser. Except for that and the paint the piece appears to be completely original with all of it's ... morehardwar and it still has it's original porcelain casters. It is solid oak but will need to be stripped to be beautiful again. It is about 30" in length, 15 1/4" in depth and about 29" in height. It is about 63 1/4" in height to the top of the mirror. This desk is in the same condition as it was found in that store. With the exception that the missing drawer knobs were replaced. The desk includes an ink bottle receptacle, pen holder, and three compartments for letters or other small items. The desk sits in the shallow wooden base that is stained to match the desk. The desk only sits in the base. It is not attached in any way that harms the desk's integrity. The base is attached to an antique wrought-iron sewing machine stand. The top lifts for storage and has a hinged arm to hold the top open. All product decals are original and unrestored. There are four drawers with wooden replacement ... moreknobs stained to match the desk. The black writing surface is original and unrestored. There are some small chips. This unusual Mission Oak Telephone Bench has a cabinet with a cut corner door on the seat side and I believe a candlestick phone may have sat upon the cabinet and the phone ringer box would be inside of the cabinet. The Condition is Good/ Very Good Pre-owned with normal signs of use and wear with some small bumps. Abrasions and some finish loss. Condition Report Cabinet top has wear to finish. Is slightly uneven in the front with a ring and dark spot in the finish at the back, has a filled nail hole on the right side and a chip ... morein the back corner as pictured. Bench seat has wear to the finish. Some scrapes, and a couple rings in the finish. There is a water spot at the back near the cabinet door, a chip in front right seat corner as pictured, and the seat planks have some glue residue on the underside. Cabinet door has a 3/8" gap on the side opposite the hinge and the spring ball catch for the door is slightly raised off the bench to engage the bottom of the door. Seat rail on side of bench has a very small amount of play. This is an Arts& Crafts Mission Oak end table made with solid white Oak. This is a quality reproduction of the 100 year old Stickley piece. Which are very rare and when found are usually not in good condition. is very sturdy, solid and very well made with alot of attention to details. It is not only a handsome piece. But very practical. I think it has been used or displayed in every room of my home over the years. I would imagine this dates to the early 1900's. Measurements are 14" long(top) x 10" wide x 10 1/4" tall. With a thick 1" board on top. It is solid oak- partially quartersawn- and has a wonderful patina with beautiful grain. It appears to be handmade and very nicely crafted, with even some nails that look squared. There are small felt pads on the bottom of each foot which I added so it wouldn't scratch my hardwood floors. ... moreThese can be easily removed. The condition of this piece is Excellent. It is sturdy and solid as a rock. For accuracy I will mention an old 2" cut on the inside of one leg(it does not go through to the outside) it has always been there and does not show on display OR affect the function(you can just barely see it in the 2nd to last photo) Otherwise fine condition. This Antique Folding Dictionary or Bible Stand was manufactured by George J Flanagan of Chicago Illinios. Probably in the late 1800's or early 1910's. It's in great condition with no damage or problems of any type. The book holder is made of solid oak. The base and upper mechanism is cast iron and the rod is steel tubing. The wooden wheels are all in tact and roll nice and smooth. Everything is original except one of the thumb screws on the angle adjustment has been replaced.
