The mirror appears to be original and in good condition as well. The overall size is 42 inches wide at the widest point, 17.5 inches deep at the deepest point, 31 inches high to the marble top and 88 inches high overall. The size of the looking glass is 15 inches by 24 inches. The dove tail drawer has had a knob replaced, but I didn’t even notice it at first. It is in really nice original condition. With a 8”x 6.5”oval space for a picture or a mirror Stand measures 73" tall x 26" wide. Looks to me to have the original paint I do not see any paint build up or singes of repainting This piece weighs approximately 120 lbs. Being offered for sale is this fantastic Pierced Carved Victorian Eastlake Walnut& Burl Walnut Marble Top Hall Tree Stand with its original Iron Drip Pans circa 1880. This splendid hall tree features fabulous pierced carvings. Burl walnut accents, brass hat/ coat hooks, its original marble top and the original fancy iron drip pans that are each embossed on the inside" S.F.Co.Cin.O" This fine 19th century hall tree measures 78 3/4 inches in height from the floor to the very top. Height from the floor to the top of the marble measures 27 3/4 inches, with a total width of 37 inches and a total depth at the base of 11 inches and this hall tree weighs approximately 70 lbs. The mirror measures 19 1/4 inches by 11 inches and the marble measures 14 inches wide by 10 1/4 inches deep. Each of the iron drip pans measures 6 1/2 inches by ... more7 1/2 inches. This lovely hall tree stand offers 6 double brass hat coat hooks perfect for hanging those jackets. Coats, purses and hats, the 2 in the middle are a little different and may be vintage replacements. Just acquired out of a wonderful. Southern Ohio estate, we are able to offer this exceptionally nice, and quite early, circa 1860's- 1880's era ~ VICTORIAN CAST IRON HALL TREE, UMBRELLA& CANE STAND, SIGNED JOHN MOORE NEW YORK ~ Please be sure to check out all of the 12 pictures we took of it. This is by far the nicest and most unusual example of an original 1870's era, Victorian Cast Iron Hall Tree stand we have ever had the opportunity to offer for auction. It measures 87 inches tall to the top of the fancy pomegranate fruit basket figural finial. The lower"hat rack" arm" by the mirror" with 4 hooks, measures 41 inches across and the top arm with 4 hooks measures 26 inches across. The base measures 28 inches wide by about 12 inches deep. There are a total of 9 very fancy large cast iron hooks which are ... moreall original to the hall tree. I even believe that the mirror is possibly original as well, with only some minor discoloration to the silvering. It has the original removeable bottom tray to rest your canes and umbrellas. The tray is signed ~ JOHN MOORE N.Y.~ on the bottom as well as signed on the back of the hall tree ~ JOHN MOORE N.Y.~ The over all condition is very nice with the exception of one broken hook on the bottom tier of cane rests- see picture# 11. It is actually not all that easy to tell because it is an inside hook. There is also one hook on the center column near the figural Lion's Head which has some damage. All of the large eight cast iron hooks on the top two sections are in perfect condition with no damage! The entire body and base is in perfect condition as well, with no cracks, chips or repairs. The patina to the cast iron is all original and we left it in 100% all original, as found, untouched condition. This would make a wonderful addition to any grand foyer entrance or a wonderful piece to display some of your prixed walking sticks or Victorian umbrellas and hats. Antique OAK? HALL TREE w/IRON HOOKS Mid Century Mission Wood Coat Hat Rack Antique/Vintage Oak? Wood Hall Tree/Coat Rack Handcrafted; stands approx. 72" tall. Features four iron double hooks-the kind that will hold a hat above and a coat below; these hooks were originally painted a gold-brass color but have aged to a distressed finish. The style is somewhat Mission/Arts& Crafts-very simple in design; it looks like oak wood. But I am no expert so I can't say for sure-please refer to photos to judge. Condition is pretty much as it appears in photos. It is old; as its handcrafted it is somewhat primitive and is unfinished on undersides that don't show. Which is typical with antiques; it shows normal vintage wear(some dings here and there and a few hairlines-one was behind a hook-see pics) but nothing too bad. Two of the"feet" ... moreare loose and one had a screw added to it on underside at some point but otherwise the feet were nailed on; buyer may wish to nail down the feet more as one popped off while I was taking it apart for packing and I popped it back on, but all that said, it looks good overall and is sturdy and stands fine. It has been taken apart to save on shipping costs. But will easily go back together using a screwdriver for the hooks and a pair of pliers or wrench to tighten the base bolt. A wonderful antique find and a practical storage piece as well- Ask questions if you have any-this item. Rare Mid 1800's Cast Iron Dog. Umbrella/Cane Hall Tree Stand, Nice! I am selling a mid 1800's victorian cast iron umbrella/Cane hall tree stand. It has the plate that goes in bottom and that is pretty rare to find. According to the research I got on these. It says in book that these were made from 1883-1886 with this particular design, then they made a design almost identical around late 1800's that had a rabbit, then early 1900's they changed it to a duck instead of a rabbit, all 3 designs had the same large dog background. It has two canes held together by what looks to be a collar and a head of a whippet on one and a horse on the other. It has the number 12 on the dog tag. It is about 25" tall, 13 1/2" w and 8" deep. NY' across the decorative center banner of the pan. The pan is extremely fancy with banding on the interior walls and beautiful decorations in the bottom corners of the pan. The drip pan measures 8” by 6 1/4” across the top. The base measures 6 ½” by 4 11/16” The pan is 1 1/2 inches deep. There is some light surface rust in the crevices. But otherwise it is very clean. There are no corroded or pitted areas. This is a wonderful item for anyone who loves the Victoriana. This stands 79 inches high and is 31 inches across at the widest arms. Beautiful details as shown in photos topped by a bounty of fruit and detailed with lions and fantastic scrolling.
