It is made of oak which has been painted(a long time ago) in an off white or antique white. It features a long center column which is in a French or Barley Twist turned design. The raised base features 4 long legs and horse hoof feet. The legs and feet are all in one piece. The top of the tree has a ball finial with turned wood design below. Vintage brass estate hall tree hat rack Masonic Lodge Offered is a vintage old hat rack I picked up an old Masonic lodge. This ornate tree stand is made of brass and metal base. The unusual item was sold as part of an estate with a mix of relics from the loge and personal items. Not sure of the origin but it looked pretty cool. Stands 6 feet tall and is comprised of two spheres on a stand with a third decorative ball near the bottom. The top globe is approximately 24 inches around. 6 hooks are fastened to the globe. I believe this is all brass. The bottom sphere is smaller with three hooks. There is a modern screw holding the stem otherwise all other items look fairy old. The base looks like brass but it is metal as my magnet stick to it. Weight is 26lbs and is has an ornate Victorian look to it. Antique OAK? HALL TREE w/IRON HOOKS Mid Century Mission Wood Coat Hat Rack Antique/Vintage Oak? Wood Hall Tree/Coat Rack Handcrafted; stands approx. 72" tall. Features four iron double hooks-the kind that will hold a hat above and a coat below; these hooks were originally painted a gold-brass color but have aged to a distressed finish. The style is somewhat Mission/Arts& Crafts-very simple in design; it looks like oak wood. But I am no expert so I can't say for sure-please refer to photos to judge. Condition is pretty much as it appears in photos. It is old; as its handcrafted it is somewhat primitive and is unfinished on undersides that don't show. Which is typical with antiques; it shows normal vintage wear(some dings here and there and a few hairlines-one was behind a hook-see pics) but nothing too bad. Two of the"feet" ... moreare loose and one had a screw added to it on underside at some point but otherwise the feet were nailed on; buyer may wish to nail down the feet more as one popped off while I was taking it apart for packing and I popped it back on, but all that said, it looks good overall and is sturdy and stands fine. It has been taken apart to save on shipping costs. But will easily go back together using a screwdriver for the hooks and a pair of pliers or wrench to tighten the base bolt. Nice Old Antique Wall Mount Three Shelf Knick Knack, Hall Rack, Early 1900's
Here's an interesting old or antique wall mount 3 shelf decorative piece. A knick knack holder, wall curio, or hall rack we received recently with some estate items. This one has the old paper tag from the furniture store it came from on the back and on the tag it is called a"hall rack" at the time. This one is in good condition overall, structurally sound with slight signs of use and age. Here are the details we noted. 1. This one is a veneered wood product. On the back side veneer there are two fragments missing. One toward the top center and one on the left below the tag a little,not in an area to be noticed but well mention them. 2. On one side there are a couple small or tiny minor veneer pieces that have been lost over the years. Not easily noticed and easily addressed or muted. 3. There are some surface scratches from ... moreuse on the top of the shelves. The piece overall could use some Old English or Liquid Gold treatment to look it's best. 4. We noticed one of the brads that helps hold on the side panel had pulled through and was allowing that point of attachment to be a little loose. So we added a brad to secure this and show it in a picture. 5. There were originally two mounting strap pieces on the back of this. One on either side. We notice that one is missing so a little attention to that will be needed. 6. Overall appearance is very nice and this piece should provide a nice decorative wall mount shelf unit. This one is about 15.5 inches wide. 27.75 inches long and about 7 inches deep. We happen to own one that is a wider version and we show this wider one in a picture as one example of how it might look when in use. Our guess is this is from the 1920's to 1930's. That's about it. The pictures should be helpful to those having interest. We'll start this old or antique decorative wall shelf unit low so enjoy the auction. We'll pack this carefully. When packed this will weigh about 7.75 lbs so we'll use USPS Parcel Select service as the lowest cost postal alternative

ANTIQUE ORNATE METAL - HALL TREE / UMBRELLA STAND / COAT RACK/ SCULPTURE-1958
This is what I believe to be a 1958 Hall Tree/ Umbrella Stand. I will describe it to the best of my ability as I am not very familiar with such a unique and interesting piece of 1950's American craftsmanship. This item is very heavy(over 70 pounds) And tall at approximately 67 inches high and appears to be made of either cast iron or some other very heavy metal. As you can see by the numerous pictures posted it is painted white(not sure if that is the original color) and looks quite impressive as it appears to be in the design of a large tree. There are hooks to hang your coat or jacket on in the front(they do seem to be original as they are bolted on in the back) and there is a removable oval piece on the base that is in the shape of a sea or clam shell(this piece is also painted white but has quite a bit of paint missing with some rust ... moreor oxidation) There are minor miscellaneous rust marks and minor blemishes on this beautiful piece and if you look carefully at the 2nd picture you will see the very far right side of the tree is not quite the same as the left with a leaf or portion of a leaf missing(I am not sure if this is how it was built or if these pieces broke off somehow which you would have to wonder how this strong metal could break) Either way this item looks remarkably good for its age. The oval opening in the upper part of the tree looks as though it possibly had a mirror in it as some point(from the back it looks like something definitely was attached at some point) There is a stamp on the removable clam/sea shell like base that reads: Patented Nov 16, 1958 so I believe this is when the piece was manufactured. There was quite a bit of time put into the making of this Hall Tree as it almost appears to be a metal sculpture with various pieces bolted to it(including 2 large bolts that attach the tree to the base) This item measures close to 67 inches high. 28 inches wide at the top, 22 inches wide at the base and about 13 inches deep at the base(front to back) I am offering this item as LOCAL P

ANTIQUE CHINESE JAPANESE GEISHA WARRIOR HALL TREE COAT RACK STAND GESSO OVERLAY
We are pleased to offer this antique to older vintage. Art Deco era, hall tree or coat/hat stand. This beautiful stand features turned wood body and base. Wrought iron acanthus/lotus vines provide the upper hanging section. There are 4 upturned, wrought iron arms, each with two areas/hooks for use. There is also a center wrought iron finial which could hold a hat or scarf. The wood is painted black(not lacquered) with a textured, slightly rough feel. The body is accented with a thick, paint/gesso overlay. This is used to form two figures on the stand as well as the design on the base. The upper body of the stand features a beautiful and detailed Geisha. Her garments and features are intricately detailed and wrap around the wooden column in a panoramic fashion. There is a lovely and subtle painted pattern on her robe. On the other side of ... morethe upper column is a large lotus flower. The lower column features a warrior or man of importance. He is also nicely and finely detailed and is standing on somewhat textured ground. On the opposite side of the man is a large, painted gold scroll design. The circular base is adorned with gesso painted characters/symbols as well as water/earth designs. Rounded flat head screws hold the wrought iron section to the body. The body is dowelled on the bottom and fits tightly into the base. Four small nails have been hammered upward to give extra hold to the base and column fitting. This is a unique and gorgeous hall tree. It is in very good antique condition. The black painted finish has only a few slight scuffs and nothing distracting. There is some cracking in the old gesso which is very common for this medium. There is a small section of the Geisha's face that is missing as well a small section on the base. These are not very noticeable and are not glaring. They do nothing to subtract from this subtly ornate old piece. It is quite lovely. The stand measures 61" tall. It is 14" in diameter at the top. Here's an old 19th Century Wooden Sign or back splash which was salvaged from an old Castle Spring House in Bruxelle's over 60 years ago. It is made of solid 1 1/8" thick hard wood which I believe is European Oak and measuring 55" x 18" bottom half) and 18" ht at the center crest. The thick 2" hand carved 5" x 5" horse head is attached from the back an is original. As well as the Beautiful original Crackle Patina that simply puts this piece over the top! Original large embossed bronze coat and hat hooks with griffin heads have traces of the original genuine gold finish. There are irregularities from shrinkage and small mars at the edges for antique character. A brass rail held canes and umbrellas over the tin pan for drips at the bottom. These old hooks are in great antique used condition; no breaks to the cast iron. There's surface rust and traces of old paint, and they should be cleaned to look they're very best. I have not cleaned this antique item. Any cleaning is being left up to the buyer's expertise. This item has been kept in a smoke free environment since it's been in my possession.
