Just acquired out of a wonderful. Southern Ohio estate, we are able to offer this exceptionally nice, and quite early, circa 1860's- 1880's era ~ VICTORIAN CAST IRON HALL TREE, UMBRELLA& CANE STAND, SIGNED JOHN MOORE NEW YORK ~ Please be sure to check out all of the 12 pictures we took of it. This is by far the nicest and most unusual example of an original 1870's era, Victorian Cast Iron Hall Tree stand we have ever had the opportunity to offer for auction. It measures 87 inches tall to the top of the fancy pomegranate fruit basket figural finial. The lower"hat rack" arm" by the mirror" with 4 hooks, measures 41 inches across and the top arm with 4 hooks measures 26 inches across. The base measures 28 inches wide by about 12 inches deep. There are a total of 9 very fancy large cast iron hooks which are ... moreall original to the hall tree. I even believe that the mirror is possibly original as well, with only some minor discoloration to the silvering. It has the original removeable bottom tray to rest your canes and umbrellas. The tray is signed ~ JOHN MOORE N.Y.~ on the bottom as well as signed on the back of the hall tree ~ JOHN MOORE N.Y.~ The over all condition is very nice with the exception of one broken hook on the bottom tier of cane rests- see picture# 11. It is actually not all that easy to tell because it is an inside hook. There is also one hook on the center column near the figural Lion's Head which has some damage. All of the large eight cast iron hooks on the top two sections are in perfect condition with no damage! The entire body and base is in perfect condition as well, with no cracks, chips or repairs. The patina to the cast iron is all original and we left it in 100% all original, as found, untouched condition. This would make a wonderful addition to any grand foyer entrance or a wonderful piece to display some of your prixed walking sticks or Victorian umbrellas and hats. We are pleased to offer this very nice and unique antique hall tree coat rack. This lovely piece is large and measures 67.5" tall. It is made of oak which has been painted(a long time ago) in an off white or antique white. It features a long center column which is in a French or Barley Twist turned design. The raised base features 4 long legs and horse hoof feet. The legs and feet are all in one piece. The top of the tree has a ball finial with turned wood design below. There are 4 brass double hooks for hanging multiple items such as coats and hats. Scarves, etc. This is a very nice hall tree with beautiful and graceful lines. Bent or broken parts except for a minor bend in one arm(photos) It is solid and sturdy- capable of handling a full load of coats. The crown and base are made from brass. The crown rotates freely on its center pin. The center post has two beautiful striated onyx/marble sections with brass inserts and trim. Vintage brass estate hall tree hat rack Masonic Lodge Offered is a vintage old hat rack I picked up an old Masonic lodge. This ornate tree stand is made of brass and metal base. The unusual item was sold as part of an estate with a mix of relics from the loge and personal items. Not sure of the origin but it looked pretty cool. Stands 6 feet tall and is comprised of two spheres on a stand with a third decorative ball near the bottom. The top globe is approximately 24 inches around. 6 hooks are fastened to the globe. I believe this is all brass. The bottom sphere is smaller with three hooks. There is a modern screw holding the stem otherwise all other items look fairy old. The base looks like brass but it is metal as my magnet stick to it. Weight is 26lbs and is has an ornate Victorian look to it. Antique OAK? HALL TREE w/IRON HOOKS Mid Century Mission Wood Coat Hat Rack Antique/Vintage Oak? Wood Hall Tree/Coat Rack Handcrafted; stands approx. 72" tall. Features four iron double hooks-the kind that will hold a hat above and a coat below; these hooks were originally painted a gold-brass color but have aged to a distressed finish. The style is somewhat Mission/Arts& Crafts-very simple in design; it looks like oak wood. But I am no expert so I can't say for sure-please refer to photos to judge. Condition is pretty much as it appears in photos. It is old; as its handcrafted it is somewhat primitive and is unfinished on undersides that don't show. Which is typical with antiques; it shows normal vintage wear(some dings here and there and a few hairlines-one was behind a hook-see pics) but nothing too bad. Two of the"feet" ... moreare loose and one had a screw added to it on underside at some point but otherwise the feet were nailed on; buyer may wish to nail down the feet more as one popped off while I was taking it apart for packing and I popped it back on, but all that said, it looks good overall and is sturdy and stands fine. It has been taken apart to save on shipping costs. But will easily go back together using a screwdriver for the hooks and a pair of pliers or wrench to tighten the base bolt. A wonderful antique find and a practical storage piece as well- Ask questions if you have any-this item. Being offered for sale is this wonderful Victorian Walnut Wall Hall Tree Coat Rack with Mirror and Storage circa 1880. This lovely 19th century Hat/ Coat Rack features beautiful two toned walnut.Pierced carvings& rosettes, 7 turned hat/ coat pegs and a sweet little lift up storage compartment below the mirror. This hall rack measures 52 1/2 inches in height.33 inches wide and 7 1/4 inches in total depth and weighs approximately 25 lbs. The mirror portion measures 16 1/4 inches high by 9 1/2 inches wide. Each of the turned hat coat hooks protrude out 5 3/4 inches and the little storage compartment measures 14 1/4 inches wide by 6 inches deep. This hall rack would be a wonderful addition placed at an entrance way to keep those jackets and coats handy. And the little lift up compartment would be a neat place to toss those car keys to keep ... morethem handy when needed. This does have an old wire back for easy placement on the wall. Nice Old Antique Wall Mount Three Shelf Knick Knack, Hall Rack, Early 1900's
Here's an interesting old or antique wall mount 3 shelf decorative piece. A knick knack holder, wall curio, or hall rack we received recently with some estate items. This one has the old paper tag from the furniture store it came from on the back and on the tag it is called a"hall rack" at the time. This one is in good condition overall, structurally sound with slight signs of use and age. Here are the details we noted. 1. This one is a veneered wood product. On the back side veneer there are two fragments missing. One toward the top center and one on the left below the tag a little,not in an area to be noticed but well mention them. 2. On one side there are a couple small or tiny minor veneer pieces that have been lost over the years. Not easily noticed and easily addressed or muted. 3. There are some surface scratches from ... moreuse on the top of the shelves. The piece overall could use some Old English or Liquid Gold treatment to look it's best. 4. We noticed one of the brads that helps hold on the side panel had pulled through and was allowing that point of attachment to be a little loose. So we added a brad to secure this and show it in a picture. 5. There were originally two mounting strap pieces on the back of this. One on either side. We notice that one is missing so a little attention to that will be needed. 6. Overall appearance is very nice and this piece should provide a nice decorative wall mount shelf unit. This one is about 15.5 inches wide. 27.75 inches long and about 7 inches deep. We happen to own one that is a wider version and we show this wider one in a picture as one example of how it might look when in use. Our guess is this is from the 1920's to 1930's. That's about it. The pictures should be helpful to those having interest. We'll start this old or antique decorative wall shelf unit low so enjoy the auction. We'll pack this carefully. When packed this will weigh about 7.75 lbs so we'll use USPS Parcel Select service as the lowest cost postal alternative

Description Offering this vintage mid century modern chrome coat hat rack hall tree. In fine solid/stable condition showing minor surface corrosion evidence without dimples. Cracks, breaks or repairs. Measures approx. 72" tall x 1 1/2" pole diameter with 4~11" long hat and coat prongs with 15" diameter cast iron base; weighs 33 lbs.
