Offered for sale is this"Wonderful" Quartersawn Oak Hall Seat. This is a very unusual piece with a combination of stick& ball and cut fret work and then a carved oval panel in the back. It has a lift lid seat and a round beveled mirror(it's a replacement) and 4 brass coat hooks. At some point in it's life someone cut about 4 inches off of it's legs, so the front legs have been made new tpo the right lenght and the rear legs have been spliced restoring them to the correct length. This is a beautiful piece that has been refinished and brought back to it's former glory for use in your home. Oak hall tree with bench seat
This beautiful antique oak hall tree is in great condition. It's been well take care of-polished weekly and dusted with a plain cloth to keep the original color intact. There are no flaws or chips out of the wood but the mirror is aged. The hinges and coat hooks are originals also. Vintage Waterbury Hall valve seat grinder made by Hall Toledo Products. I would say in the 30s. Excellent, in origonal metal case. Motor runs great, cord is good. The dressing stand is nice except the diamond is gone( it appears to be the same 3/8 sae thread that most stone dressers use) So it would be easy to obtain if you are going to use the tool. Unlike the later Sioux- Quick way and other hand held motors this one sits over the pilot and you turn a micrometer adjuster to lower stone. Set has a large selection of stones and pilots as you can see in the pictures. Tool is still very usable but would look great in your restored Station or Garare Mahal. Hall Toledo Valve seat grinder set up- Model EJ
Up for your consideration is a vintage Hall-Toledo valve seat grinder. The kit consists of 33 different valve grinding stones. 12 pilots, 5 valve guide cleaners, a couple of cans of lapping compound, 1 wirebrush, 1 diamond dresser, and a dial run out gauge for checking concentricity. Pretty much everything you need to grind the seats on anything from a Hupmobile to a Hyundai- Maybe not a Hyundai- I don't think these pilots are metric although some might fit. Motor runs good and everything is in good useable shape. Comes in a steel cabinet that holds everything. These work great as they allow you to control the feed of the stone into the valve seat. I have used one many years ago and it did a great job. Complete kit goes together- cabinet measures about 9" x 12" x 20 1/2" and weighs about 50#

This beautiful Hall Seat features QUARTER SAWN or sometimes referred to as Tiger Oak through out the piece. Please note the very cool GRIFFIN heads on each side of the mirror. It also has 1 column on each side of the seat with 2 oak finials. Claw Feet, and 3 Brass Hooks on each side as well. The piece measures 79"H x 19"D x 47 1/2"W. Antique 1890's Victorian Hall Seat/Tree w/Mirror Massive! Hand Carved Oak Fancy!
Congratulations! You are bidding on a magnificent antique Victorian 1890's Hall seat/tree with bevelled mirror. This one-of-a-kind hall seat is made of solid oak with quarter sawn arms that end in hand carved lions' heads. It has claw feet and decorative carvings on the curved skirt and mirror surround. It has four decorative metal brackets for hanging hats around the mirror. It also has a deep storage seat. Quite frankly. It has the look and feel of a throne! It has been restored with an oak stain and satin polyeurothane finish in order to stand up to the rigors of daily use. It does have one area where the wood panels have separated slightly in the middle of the back of the seat(see pics) but it in no way takes away from the overall look of the piece. This would make a wonderful statement in any entryway or hall! I have seen a lot ... moreof antique hall trees and seats however, I have never seen one this fancy. Vintage Hall "EJ" Valve Seat Grinding Machine Set for Diesel, Tractors, Autos
This auction is for a vintage 1945 Hall-Teledo Valve Seat Grinding Machine. Hall-Teledo Products. Metal label info: 110 volts. Universal cycle,model EJ, serial 27791. It is Model EJ" and can be used for Diesel engines, Tractors, Autos, Motorcycles, Combines, Trucks, Buses. It comes with original metal case, and a drawer full of adaptors in different sizes. Door has bits on it along with original operating instructions with a date of May 1945. Original manual with size conversions is also included and is in fair well used condition but readable. It is in fair conditon with signs of use. It has a label on front and a metal one on side. It does work when I plugged it in, but could not take a picture of it running due to motor being enclosed. Cord does have a slit in it, and also is taped up toward end that comes out of grinder. Cord should ... moremost likely be replaced. All componants seem to move freely. Handle that screws into top of machine is broken where it screws in. The screw is broken, and part of screw is in top of machine. Door to case is missing metal closure piece on one closure. Grinder measures approx 15" x 15" x 9" It is very heavy, so please inquire about shipping costs if needed. Weight is approx 60-70lbs. I do not know if set is complete, and it is being sold AS IS! I aquired it from a private local auto repair garage that I bought out and will be listing auto items over the next several weeks. I am not an expert on this, so what you see is what you get. Mahogany window seat hall bench upholstered in Scalamandre cut silk velvet
Handsome mahogany window seat or hall bench upholstered in Scalamandre's Pomfret( 26692-012) velvet. The velvet alone sells for $229.50 per yard- see my screen shot from Scalamandre's website. The bench and upholstery are in good condition. The ends or arms of the bench have a little bit of wiggle to them. But the bench is sturdy. One side of the bench appears to have been sat upon more than the other and so is a bit more"squished" than the other side. In my opinion. The bench is at least turn of the 20th century, if not older. I have not removed the dust cover from the underside to see the construction. Note that I have rotated the bench 180 degrees for photos. So both sides and both ends are shown.

Antique/Vintage Art Deco-THEATER SEAT-SHOW HALL- 2 Decorative End Panels- NICE!!
Up for consideration is an old theater seat from the Lyric Theatre in Park River. ND. The theater opened its doors in 1916 and had some refurbishing in 1936. The theater is presently being remodeled I am guessing that the seat is vintage 1916ish but could be 1930's. If you know, please let me know. The seat material is in good condition, with obvious wear. The velvet is original on the back and sides of the chair. The seat top has been reupholstered. The seat is heavy weighing 48 pounds. There are decorative side panels on both sides- this feature makes the chair truly flattering. On the base of the legs are metal pieces with holes for screws to secure the chair to the floor. The metal on the chair is almost flawless, but could use a paint job. The seat is spring loaded, lifting when weight is taken from it- this mechanism works just ... morefine. Circa 1870– 1890. The monks’ bench features a peg hinge tabletop. Which ... moreis carved on both sides. The tabletop can be adjusted to act as a backrest or a tabletop. Below. The back is attached to the base with reeded solid arms. The seat is hinged and reveals a useful large storage area below for shoes and willies. The central frame carving to the front of the bench below the seat depicts“Bacchus” The Greek god of wine and fertility. Surrounding this are floral carvings. To the side of the base there are pretty lattice carved panels. The bench is built using peg construction. This bench features the original polish and patination and thus the colour of this settle is superb. This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the hallway. Dining room or kitchen.
