It is about 82-3/4" tall, 24 to 26" wide(at different levels) and 15" deep. The Beveled Mirror is about 17 1/4" wide and 35" high and in very good condition for its age. There are 6 Coat, Cap Hooks, the two on top are Butterfly Hooks( unusual& rare) see picture 5, I have never seen these before or after we got this one) I don't know if they were on the Hall Tree from day one or if someone added them later, they are old and they compliment the attractive decorative carvings on top, plus they do match the cutout pattern above the seat perfectly.see picture 3) The Bench Seat has storage space under the lid. Being offered for sale is this Splendid English Victorian Carved Oak Hall Tree/ Umbrella Stand with Carved Winged Dragons circa 1890's. This antique hall tree would make a fabulous foyer/ entrance way piece perfect for having those coats. Wraps, jackets and umbrellas conveniently at the door. We believe this hall tree stand to have its original finish and its original beveled mirror. This hall tree measures 85 inches in height.42 inches wide at widest point and 13 inches deep and weighs approximately 85 lbs. The actual mirror portion measures 23 inches in height by 14 3/4 inches wide.There are 10 original turned oak hall/ hat hooks that each project out 5 inches, and the original square metal drip pans at the base each measure 6 1/ 2 inches by 6 1/2 inches. The original finish does have wear and shows some loss in areas. And the mirror ... moredoes have some mild cloudiness and streaking as age appropriate. Just acquired out of a wonderful. Southern Ohio estate, we are able to offer this exceptionally nice, and quite early, circa 1860's- 1880's era ~ VICTORIAN CAST IRON HALL TREE, UMBRELLA& CANE STAND, SIGNED JOHN MOORE NEW YORK ~ Please be sure to check out all of the 12 pictures we took of it. This is by far the nicest and most unusual example of an original 1870's era, Victorian Cast Iron Hall Tree stand we have ever had the opportunity to offer for auction. It measures 87 inches tall to the top of the fancy pomegranate fruit basket figural finial. The lower"hat rack" arm" by the mirror" with 4 hooks, measures 41 inches across and the top arm with 4 hooks measures 26 inches across. The base measures 28 inches wide by about 12 inches deep. There are a total of 9 very fancy large cast iron hooks which are ... moreall original to the hall tree. I even believe that the mirror is possibly original as well, with only some minor discoloration to the silvering. It has the original removeable bottom tray to rest your canes and umbrellas. The tray is signed ~ JOHN MOORE N.Y.~ on the bottom as well as signed on the back of the hall tree ~ JOHN MOORE N.Y.~ The over all condition is very nice with the exception of one broken hook on the bottom tier of cane rests- see picture# 11. It is actually not all that easy to tell because it is an inside hook. There is also one hook on the center column near the figural Lion's Head which has some damage. All of the large eight cast iron hooks on the top two sections are in perfect condition with no damage! The entire body and base is in perfect condition as well, with no cracks, chips or repairs. The patina to the cast iron is all original and we left it in 100% all original, as found, untouched condition. This would make a wonderful addition to any grand foyer entrance or a wonderful piece to display some of your prixed walking sticks or Victorian umbrellas and hats. Bent or broken parts except for a minor bend in one arm(photos) It is solid and sturdy- capable of handling a full load of coats. The crown and base are made from brass. The crown rotates freely on its center pin. The center post has two beautiful striated onyx/marble sections with brass inserts and trim. This hall tree has smaller hooks in the center for childrens coats. Note that the lines that look like they could be cracks in the onyx are actually naturally occurring veins in the stone. Also. Up for auction is this Mission/Arts Crafts Style coat rack. Very sturdy but does have some issues. Solid oak rack with great patina. Measures 68"tall x 12"deep and wide. As the pictures show. We are pleased to offer this very ornate. Pre 1900, antique brass umbrella stand. This lovely entry hall stand features a footed base fashioned as an inverted umbrella/parasol. It has 6 sections and is done in an all over hammered brass design. In each section are ornate, embossed floral bouquets. The column is also brass and is ribbed. The top of this stand is quite ornate with curved brass. There are two dolphin or dragons in the center of the curvature. The creatures mirror one another. They have eyes and curved bodies. From their heads comes the curved handle. The stand has five large circular holders. Each holder measures approximate 2.6" in diameter and will hold more than one umbrella. The stand is in very good antique condition. There is aged patina to the brass, but a little brass polish will restore the shine(if you so choose) ... moreIt is structurally very sound and sturdy. It has the plate that goes in bottom and that is pretty rare to find. According to the research I got on these. It says in book that these were made from 1883-1886 with this particular design, then they made a design almost identical around late 1800's that had a rabbit, then early 1900's they changed it to a duck instead of a rabbit, all 3 designs had the same large dog background. It has two canes held together by what looks to be a collar and a head of a whippet on one and a horse on the other. It has the number 12 on the dog tag. It is about 25" tall, 13 1/2" w and 8" deep. ANTIQUE ORNATE METAL - HALL TREE / UMBRELLA STAND / COAT RACK/ SCULPTURE-1958
This is what I believe to be a 1958 Hall Tree/ Umbrella Stand. I will describe it to the best of my ability as I am not very familiar with such a unique and interesting piece of 1950's American craftsmanship. This item is very heavy(over 70 pounds) And tall at approximately 67 inches high and appears to be made of either cast iron or some other very heavy metal. As you can see by the numerous pictures posted it is painted white(not sure if that is the original color) and looks quite impressive as it appears to be in the design of a large tree. There are hooks to hang your coat or jacket on in the front(they do seem to be original as they are bolted on in the back) and there is a removable oval piece on the base that is in the shape of a sea or clam shell(this piece is also painted white but has quite a bit of paint missing with some rust ... moreor oxidation) There are minor miscellaneous rust marks and minor blemishes on this beautiful piece and if you look carefully at the 2nd picture you will see the very far right side of the tree is not quite the same as the left with a leaf or portion of a leaf missing(I am not sure if this is how it was built or if these pieces broke off somehow which you would have to wonder how this strong metal could break) Either way this item looks remarkably good for its age. The oval opening in the upper part of the tree looks as though it possibly had a mirror in it as some point(from the back it looks like something definitely was attached at some point) There is a stamp on the removable clam/sea shell like base that reads: Patented Nov 16, 1958 so I believe this is when the piece was manufactured. There was quite a bit of time put into the making of this Hall Tree as it almost appears to be a metal sculpture with various pieces bolted to it(including 2 large bolts that attach the tree to the base) This item measures close to 67 inches high. 28 inches wide at the top, 22 inches wide at the base and about 13 inches deep at the base(front to back) I am offering this item as LOCAL P

ANTIQUE CHINESE JAPANESE GEISHA WARRIOR HALL TREE COAT RACK STAND GESSO OVERLAY
We are pleased to offer this antique to older vintage. Art Deco era, hall tree or coat/hat stand. This beautiful stand features turned wood body and base. Wrought iron acanthus/lotus vines provide the upper hanging section. There are 4 upturned, wrought iron arms, each with two areas/hooks for use. There is also a center wrought iron finial which could hold a hat or scarf. The wood is painted black(not lacquered) with a textured, slightly rough feel. The body is accented with a thick, paint/gesso overlay. This is used to form two figures on the stand as well as the design on the base. The upper body of the stand features a beautiful and detailed Geisha. Her garments and features are intricately detailed and wrap around the wooden column in a panoramic fashion. There is a lovely and subtle painted pattern on her robe. On the other side of ... morethe upper column is a large lotus flower. The lower column features a warrior or man of importance. He is also nicely and finely detailed and is standing on somewhat textured ground. On the opposite side of the man is a large, painted gold scroll design. The circular base is adorned with gesso painted characters/symbols as well as water/earth designs. Rounded flat head screws hold the wrought iron section to the body. The body is dowelled on the bottom and fits tightly into the base. Four small nails have been hammered upward to give extra hold to the base and column fitting. This is a unique and gorgeous hall tree. It is in very good antique condition. The black painted finish has only a few slight scuffs and nothing distracting. There is some cracking in the old gesso which is very common for this medium. There is a small section of the Geisha's face that is missing as well a small section on the base. These are not very noticeable and are not glaring. They do nothing to subtract from this subtly ornate old piece. It is quite lovely. The stand measures 61" tall. It is 14" in diameter at the top. Vintage Mid-Century Brass Clothing Wardrobe Hanger Hall Tree Stand - Mad Men!
Up for sale is our Vintage 1960's Brass Valet/Clothes Hanger/Butler/Wardrobe. Overall good condition with normal wear to the brass and fabric consistent with age and use. This valet measures 4 feet tall x 18" wide x 17" deep. The seat height is 14" from the floor. Made of brass and vinyl or imitation leather. The vinyl is original to the piece and is ivory in color. The frame is brass. There is an etched brass tray on top to hold your pocket change. Keys, cell phone, etc. and there is an embossed brass medallion in the center with flying ducks or geese. There is a place to hang your jacket and a bar with rubber grips to hang your slacks on so they will stay wrinkle free. Nice and sturdy and complete. There is no missing or broken hardware, just a small tear about 1 inch in the vinyl on one side shown in a photo, and a small ... morepin hole in the seat cushion, and a few missing stiches. The bottom of the seat is covered with the original cardboard which is loose in the front, but I didn't want to tape or staple it and will leave that to the new owner- a very easy fix really. It is a gorgeous piece and in great vintage condition just in need of a good cleaning and polishing of the wood to bring back its luster. It has(4) Brass fixtures for the hats or coats and also railings for the umbrellas. One of the hat fixture is missing one of screws. Antique Victorian style iron hall tree coat rack and umbrella stand. Could use a repainting but have been told to let the buyer do that. This stands 79 inches high and is 31 inches across at the widest arms. Beautiful details as shown in photos topped by a bounty of fruit and detailed with lions and fantastic scrolling. With a bit of tlc this would make a magnificent entry way piece. This can be un bolted into. 3 pieces for transport plus the drip pan makes 4. Very heavy piece.
