The rack measures 25" in length and is 17" from the bottom of the hooks to the top. It comes out about 10" from the wall at the widest part of the hook s. Gorgeous Primitive Antique Wood Pediment Turned Wall Hanging Coat Rack Hat Rack This is one of my favorites this week. It's a beautiful antique. Solid wood pediment piece that has been repurposed into a wall hanging coat and hat rack. As you can see from my photps, a newer hanging wire has been added to the back, but you could clearly mount directly on the wall too by screwing holes. There are some holes by the hooks on the bottom, but you could also make your own. It does hang just fine by the wire. Love how you can see old white paint on the top of the piece- I can't tell if that's old wall paint, or from a part of the piece that was painted previously, but it's old. The piece has a stunning warm dark patina. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition, but shows its age in rustic wear- scratches, scrapes, dings, small ... morechips, finish wear, dark spots, light spots, alligatored spots, divots, finish wear, minor cracks- nothing that compromises structure and all adding to and what you'd expect from a primitive antique beauty. It has two antique steel wire coat hooks with a hat hook in the center. The patina of the metal is dark, but I do think it may have had a gold colored finish at one point in time- it's hard to tell for sure. It weighs 4 1/2 lbs, and measures 41 1/2" long and 7 1/2" tall at the center and is 4" deep from the back to the front of the coat hooks. You're going to love it too! Early Vtg. Antique-Primitive Bent Wood - Coat-Hat-Clothes Rack- Wall Mount
Offered is a wonderful Primitive Wood Rack for wall mounting- The peice looks quite old and I would think its antique based on its style but definately Old Vintage. Its a rack for Hats. Coats or Clothing and has 4 bent wood arms with elongated knobs at ends that look like a barrel shape and the tops are pointed, theres 2 back rails and each end has 2 wood support dowels. It has a wonderful shape and style of old primitive wood working. The wood shows normal signs of age to its finish, some knicks, scuffs, and scratches but nothing major. The upper back rail has two holes where screws go through to mount it and I see theres a metal groumet in one and the other is missing and the last photo shows one arm that has a hairline crack or split but the arm seems nice and sturdy. This is an antique or vintage coat or hat rack. It is made of wood and has 4 ridges on the front wood slats. It has 10 wooden turned pegs that have a porcelain tip on the end of each peg. And on the back of each peg there is a round metal circle with a flower design. One metal circle is missing.so when you open it it will come off the peg. If you are handy you can make a small metal end or even use a metal bottle top to fix it. One other metal has been replaced by a piece of metal that someone made. It does feel weak to me, but I didn't mess with it just in case you wanted to do it yourself. The varnish is rough and mostly gone. The porcelain ends all seem secure, but need a good cleaning. I see where one wooden slat has a slight split in it and another one has a few small holes in it. There are 4 holes for hanging. Someone put an eye ... morehook in the back.probably for hanging.because there is a small hole where an eyehook probably was and is now missing. It measures 18 inches long and 4 inches wide when it is closed up, and 46 inches long and 7 inches wide when it is stretched open. RARE ANTIQUE PERT PAT WOOD ALPHABET & # BLOCK CHILD COAT TREE STAND RACK - CUTE!
VINTAGE PERT PAT CHILD'S COAT TREE This unique and very rare child's coat rack was manufactured by the Pert Pat Company in the 1950's. I cannot find another example anywhere. It is made up of 17 rotating blocks with letters and numbers on it and has four posts at the top to hang coats hats and bags. It stands 37.5" tall. It has it's share of dents and dings but should clean up very nicely. Pert Pat Products was located in New Hampshire and made children and doll's furniture from the white pine found locally. The company was in business from 1953 to 1958.

more pictures below description* EXPANDING COAT RACK/ HALL TREE This was bought at an estate auction of the owner of a funeral home. The owner also collected Odd Fellow Lodge items. It appears to be very old but I'm not sure when it was made and there are no makers marks or labels. I have only found one hall tree anywhere like this on the internet. It was made by Clipper Shaft Co but it is different than this one, especially the inside parts. This has dark stained wood. But not sure exactly what wood. Cast Brass hooks and metal workings inside. Wear and patina on the wood surfaces including some white spots on the base feet. It's not in bad shape but would be more beautiful refurbished. It is missing a finial on the top. Fully functional, sturdy, beautiful period piece. Pole width: 3" Depth: 2 5/8" height: 71.5" Extends ... moreto a 36" across hanging bar for coats. Stands alone looking like a traditional coat tree. You have two hooks that you undo and press down on the piece of flat metal holding the bases together. Then just start pulling apart while raising the top bar, the bottom extends and locks into place. You slide the top bar up past the"clip" that springs back and then keeps the bar from falling. Leans a little, so maybe the spring metal piece had more to it than what's there now-but it works. Now you have a coat rack for all your guests! Up for auction is this exquisite antique hat and coat rack. I could see this in a fine clothing shoppe or gentleman's parlor. Just so beautifully made and quite ingenious. Too. The four hat stands plus all the pegs swing open and close to desired position. Made of mahogany wood, it has survived in wonderful condition. There is some age to the finish as shown, as well as one bottom peg was replaced sometime during its life. I think this adds to the charm of the item, but you are to decide. With the hat stands in the straight out position, the rack measures approx. 38" w x 30 1/2" h x 8" d. This is a BEAUTIFUL. Antique, French Art Deco(1920s) full size bed FOOTBOARD which has been reclaimed and repurposed. This lovely repurposed coat or towel rack is Mahogany wood which has been painted and heavily distressed for a chippy, shabby, French Country look. The color is a lovely French blue which has been layered with an over glaze of white to give the footboard a very soft blue finish. The beveled edge trim and the large center medallion have been painted white and also heavily distressed. The legs are still attached for added interest. There are three double coat/towel hangers attached to the lower section of the footboard. These are in an antiqued brass finish with a little silver tone in them as well. This is a gorgeous and large wall piece which is as functional as it is beautiful. It is a lovely hallway, entryway accent or wood ... morebe perfect in the utility or mud room. ANTIQUE 5 CAST IRON HOOKS OAK WOOD PULLMAN RAILROAD COAT HAT RACK WALL VICTORIAN
Here we have a lovely antique railroad coat hook- the wood features a nice beveled edge around the bottom and sides and measures 31" x 3 5/8" There are two sturdy eye-hooks. So it is ready to hang. It has five nicely decorated iron double hooks connected with steel rods. The top hook sticks out about 2 1/8" from the base and the bottom hook sticks out about 1 1/4" from the base. The top rack part sticks up about 6" from the base. The wood was carved out to hold the hooks- the center three are a little wobbly side to side, but not loose where they are connected.
